Built much better than I expected. Easy to fold/unfold. Grabs items easily and holds them - from papers to shoes, etc.

I bought this before hip replacement surgery. It worked great to putting on underwear and pants and taking them off. I could even pick up puny things like shelled peanuts that I feed the squirrels with. I tried using to take off my compression socks and it snapped at the jaws to pieces like a tooth pick. I ordered another after I learned my lesson. At first I didn't understand why they sold these in 2 packs. Then I understood after surgery. I would leave in bedroom to dress and undress, then I would have need of it in the kitchen. Then I would have to hobble to the bedroom to retrieve it using my walker.

This is well made. The jaws are wider, and it's more rugged than the grabber you get from Dollar Tree. But make no mistake; it's not a crowbar. IF you step on it, it will at least deform. If you try to grab stuff that's too heavy, it will go the way of all grabbers and break.The strength of this particular reacher is that it is easy to extend and fold. It's very intuitive! If you don't like feeling your grabber is giving you an IQ test as you fold and unfold it, this may be the tool for you!It doesn't have suction cups, but I can pick quarters up off the floor with it. I can pick papers off the floor, but maybe not tagboard lying flat on the floor.I use it to reach into creepy places I don't want to put my bare hand, such as behind the washing machine or under furniture. I use it to avoid repeatedly bending over to get stuff off the floor. I use it to get stuff off the top shelves without a step ladder. It works well for this.

I have long limbs, so I selected a longer reach.

I haven’t found anything to dislike about this tool. I just had a surgery that prevents me from bending over and I was told to make sure I got one of these. I actually got two so that if I dropped one, I could pick it up with the other tool. Its grip is good and it’s easy to use. I think it’s a great value for the money. It’s important to have one of these if you have difficulty picking things up off the floor

I have back and knee issues that make reaching to the floor painful. This grabber is perfect. The right length; it folds up, is lightweight, sturdy and can pick up just about anything w/in 6 pounds. I bought it to help me with yard work but it's been working indoors most recently.

My back won't let me bend over. This is the best grabber/reacher I've had to pick things up from the floor, take off my socks, etc. It is very light weight and I also find myself using it as a cane for a little extra support and balance. It seems plenty sturdy enough for that. The one I got is 36" and I've just ordered 2 of the 32" as I'm a short person and I think that will be a better size for my all around use.

Worked great until it broke after the third time we used it. The cable inside broke. Awaiting a replacement.

Helps me well with picking and grabbing items. Love that you can fold it in three and love the magnet also.

Decent quality for price. The locking mechanism that holds it extended are a bit wide and bulky making the profile wider but not a big deal - depending on intended use.
