Thinner, but good quality, good fit
The vest is good quality, of wrangler standards, but it was not made in Mexico, was made in Nicaragua. Denim is also slighyly thinner than my previous vest, which was made in Mexico, and held up well for years.

Good fit!
This vest is better than what I expected! The description said snap and it has buttons, which I prefer because they hold better than most snaps when you are working. The pockets are in the middle of the panels on the front, since they have no flaps, I would prefer them inside, higher up and deeper to hold a pen and/or a cell phone more securely. And would someone tell the clothing industry that some of us desire and XLT instead of an XL--stuff always seems too short for my 6'3" self. Still, this is a keeper.

Looks really nice. Bought a large size, tried it on, and it was way too small, especially around the waist. I returned it, and ordered an extra large. I think it will need a good washing with ample fabric softener in the rinse cycle to make it more soft or comfortable. I am big around the middle at 5'8", 215 lbs. UPDATE: The extra large fits about right, very snug to button (I leave it unbuttoned like in the listing photo) and it came out of the washer/dryer like I wanted.

This is one of those things that you either get wearing it...or you don't. Great, tough quality and classic style. Makes a great layering garment

Denim vest
What you see is what you get. Size fits as advertised. Wished the pockets had buttons or zipper, that’s what makes this a 4 star vs 5.
