This dongle has been of great use! I still use it when I need a hardwire connection. It is USB c, and most electronics are compatible with it still today. I like how it is easily foldable. It is tiny, so it can get lost in a box of electronics. Still intact and works great.

This is a really slick little USB to HDMI adapter! It's small, sleek and durable. It tucks nicely into a bag, or will slip into your pocket without feeling bulky. Since the USB plug tucks into the plastic body, there are no loose cables to get tangled up. You can even thread USB-C through a key-ring and carry it on your keychain!IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES: Make sure to update your graphics card drivers. I had been using my laptop with a Dell USB-C docking station at work. When i first plugged in this adapter i could not get any video output. My laptop has both an integrated Intel HD P650 and a dedicated NVidia Quadro M2200. After updating both cards to the latest driver, everything magically worked.

[Update]I was contacted by the Nonda, and the promptly send me a new adapter. Excellent service !!!Other USB-C -> HDMI have outlasted this one.This one just died after less than two years of use.

I went ahead and purchased this product even though it's one of the higher priced USBC > HDMI converters and it doesn't work with my S8 properly. The video quality is absolutely terrible and the audio will only project out of the phone. I am going to work on returning it. I will rereview if the replacement is non defective.Edit: Got a second one sent to me. Still no audio sent through HDMI. This product is garbage for the S8 and they need to change the description for the product. I bought the Samsung version. Works great. Don't waste your time on this product.

This unit has a small footprint. I did have to try 3 different devices before I found one that this unit worked with. I tried anolder MacBook, a g5 phone, it finally worked on a Dell latitude. I bought a usb-c to micro usb adapter to try with a samsung s7 no luck. Once working the picture was great and there wad no lag. Overall good product.

Reasonable price, sturdy, and compact. I use my Lenovo Miix 510 with a projector to teach and tried other brands but this one is by far the most satisfying product. The usb-c is L-shaped so the whole thing doesn't stick out and is very convenient. The fit is very tight and it needs to be wiggled out a bit but I think it's better than a loose fit which causes issues with the connection. Braided cord adds flexibility and storing is smart and convenient as it is designed to hide the protruding usb-c plug into the casing and the compact size allows it to be stowed away in a snap. An excellent design with a reasonable price tag.

This works very well for me to be able to connect my MacBook Pro to my 30” monitor. I use my mac for editing video and photos mainly and this helps greatly by allowing me to connect to a larger 4k monitor. The video is smooth even at 4k. The braided cable is very sturdy and seems like it will hold up very well. When not in use the cable wraps around the device and stores nicely in the side. While it is light weight it doesn’t feel cheap. I have other cables and connectors from this company and they all work well. I would recommend getting this adapter.

First of all, there is an issue with the design like everybody else mentions. Though it looks nice, because the length of line is designed so tight, you have an issue with pulling the plug out from the body. if they wanted to use this design then they should have gone with an extendable and retractable line - otherwise this design does not make sense.Second and most importantly, it fails to reconnect my macbook pro to the monitor every time my computer goes into sleep mode or screensaving mode. Once I wake my macbook from the sleep mode, the monitor would display the grey, noisy screen and I would have to pull out the adaptor and give it sometime before reconnecting to the computer. It gets worse every day so I had to order another adaptor from another company. I would not recommend this product.

I love the compact design of this USB-C To Mini Display Port Adapter, and it works perfectly with the Apple LED Cinema Display 27-inch (2560 × 1440).BUT (capital letters "but"), I had to return it because inexplicably and uselessly , the "T" shape design blocks the contiguous 2nd USB-C port as you can see in the image, so I can not connect anything else to the MacBook Air M2, including my needed USB Hub. If this flaw was taken in consideration when designing this adapter! Why has the USB-C plug has a "T" shape instead of a "L"?

Too Expensive

I bought this to connect my Lenovo Thinkpad laptop to two Dell Ultrasharp monitors (via displayport daisy chaining). It worked like a charm after the monitors were properly configured. It had no issues dealing with both monitors native display resolution (2540x1440 and 1920x1200). I've been using it for a few weeks now and have run into no display issues.It's well constructed from plastic material. The fact that the USB-C connection folds away into the casing is reassuring (it's unlikely to snap off as I hastily pack it into my backpack).The only negative I've found is the design of the USB-C connection. It juts out slightly and nearly blocks off the USB 3 port beside the USB-C port on my laptop. I can still use the USB 3 port, but have to connect the cable at a slight angle. Keep this in mind if you have another port very close to the USB-C port on your device.

The company was extremely courteous and helpful. They sent me a replacement unit when the first failed to connect a Dell XPS laptop to Apple Display monitor. The second however, also fails to connect the laptop to the monitor. The item is not faulty as I tested it on a MacBook and it works perfectly well.I am quite disappointed as on the face of it this should connect a mini display to a USB-c but unfortunately it only seems to work for Apple systems.

Cute little adapter, connecting cable is 4-inches in length, the USB-C male plug is at right-angles to the cable and perfect for USB-C socket on the side of the laptop.
