Do NOT buy for MAC as some features/functions are not available
This tablet is NOT MAC COMPATIBLE if you want all the features. This is a well built and well priced tablet but it is NOT as listed good on a MAC computer. The driver download from the Ugee website is a substandard driver without lots of the features that are available if your using it on a PC. I spent hours trying to find information about why the features are missing on a MAC with no explanation from Ugee. I did find some forums with other users having the same issue and also comments that Ugee are no longer going to support driver updates, some comments stated that they thought Ugee actually may no longer be a functioning company. I think this may be true as the driver download from the Ugee website took nearly an hour even though the file size was only 8.1mb.Having a not fully functioning device was very frustrating as i had spent some time looking into which tablet to get in this price range and size and had seen several reviews that stated it was a great value, well made tablet with great functionality. None of the reviews mentioned the fact that it was substandard on a mac and all the listings for sale of the item claim it is compatible with both mac and pc. I can confirm that IT IS NOT MAC COMPATIBLE if you want all the functions.Note: Even though i have opened the box and tried this item with the distance selling rules for online sales i am allowed to return this for a full refund so I have returned this to amazon.I have now bought the Huion H950P, it arrives today, all reviews say that it works well on MAC and PC and has similar specs and build quality to Ugee M708. Lets hope so or it's going back as well!!

Works with Linux
This is only a quick, preliminary review. I just wanted to say that it works "out of the box" on Linux Mint 20.1 Ulyssa. Support is built into the kernel. All I had to do was plug it into a USB socket. It works fine, with pressure sensitivity and the buttons on the pen and tablet working.I've knocked one star off usability because I haven't been able to find the tablet options panel yet (which to be fair isn't Ugee's fault.) This is a problem for me because I'm a leftie and want to flip the orientation of the drawing space so the buttons will be out from under my drawing hand. If you're a rightie you won't need to change them at all, most likely. I haven't downloaded the latest drivers from the Ugee site, on the grounds of "if it ain't broke don't fix it."I'm having a lot of fun.

Great at first, but quite disappointing
At first this product was amazing! It's easy to use and worked with my laptop straight away, and the pen is very comfortable to hold. However, the surface of the tablet is very rough and it's COVERED in scratches and I've only had it for 2 months. The pen has been worn down a lot over the short time I've had it, which hasn't helped with how easy it scratches the surface.Because of all these scratches the sensitivity/pressure has fallen immensely and it either doesn't pick up or leaves a faint line. The plastic/glass covering on the side has also cracked, idk how this happened, but it makes me wonder how fragile the rest of the tablet it is.Definitely wouldn't buy it again, which is a shame because it looks nice and worked very well at first.

The drawing area is great
UPDATEIt's quite scratched after a few weeks working. See image.Really enjoying using the UGEE. I replaced an old Wacom intuos 4 that was starting to act up.The drawing area is great, much bigger than what I came from. The build quality isn’t quite as good, the sound as you click and drag across is harsher than the wacom but I think this may reduce with wear.
