Farberware 5181490 Stainless Steel Colander Sieves-Set of 3, Multi Sized

Needed some colanders with smaller holes to strain Acine de Pepe pasta (tiny ball pasta), most strainers the pasta falls through. These work perfectly. However, I have found they don’t work well to wash wild rice & strain, unfortunately some of skinny rice falls through (I’m not sure there’s a colander out there that will not loose the little buggers while washing). They are very durable, they stack well so makes storage great. The best way I have found to wash is with a brush to get all the tiny holes/mesh, to get all the suds off the spray works the best. I have not attempted to put them in the dishwasher. Definitely a good purchase, great product with decent pricing. Would purchase again!

These sieves are handy for draining hot or cold foods or for rinsing them. It is much easier to have sieves that stand independently rather than those with a handle that tilt. Having three, especially in different sizes that fit inside of each other, is useful especially when preparing salad ingredients, pasta or other dishes. This product increases my happiness in the kitchen.

Some colanders have spots where liquids accumulate rather than drain out thanks to sparse or poorly placed holes - but not these. The mesh lets all the liquid drain out while retaining the solids. These replaced all those losers in my collection. So far, they've met my cooking needs perfectly. Word of warning, though, they are not meant to be put in the dishwasher. That hasn't been a problem for me. I sent these to two separate family members for Christmas after receiving mine.

These have been amazing, we had a crappy strainer and finally replaced it with this set.These guys keep all the small stuff in and let's all the liquid out. The 3 different is great, the material is nice and they are sturdy and well made

I love this set. There is a size for everything. They clean up super easy. The mesh is very small but quinoa still goes through. They are sturdy being stainless steel. I do think if I Jeep picking it up by the sides and not the handles that the mesh may tear away from the edges.

I have been in need of new colanders. These are exactly the style I have been looking for.They are mesh but sturdy. The mesh does not bend when you press on it. Like the one I had previously.Water flows out easily. Water doesn’t get stuck at the bottom like the colanders that have punched holes.I’m just really happy with this purchase and the price.

I love these colanders! I can sift with them, and drain my veggies with them. I can even place over a bowl to drain my yogurt in the cheesecloth. The quality is amazing! Worth every penny for the set!

I love that these have a rim on the bottom and the bowl doesn't sit directly on the sink. They are very sturdy and drain very well. The double handles makes it easy to handle cumbersome foods like pasta.

I’m using these well designed colanders almost daily in the kitchen. The various sizes are handy to have, but mostly they are capable of handling almost everything that needs to be rinsed as well as draining pasta and rice. They clean up easily and appear to be a quality product. Very pleased with these colanders. Thanks!

Sturdy, I like the base and handles. Note: These are mesh colanders. The mesh is medium, not fine. Raw rice, for instance, will fall through.

I am very happy with my strainers. Well made and works perfectly. Nice and sturdy. Price was almost double compared to Amazon US but that is life isn't it living in Canada. Shipment arrived very quickly.

Add says dishwasher friendly, tag on the product says hand wash only. Wouldn’t have purchased had the add been accurate. That said quality is very good so far.
