Such a backsaver! Everyone doing drywall needs this
I recently used this drywall lift tool for a home renovation project, and I couldn’t be more impressed by how much it simplified the job. Installing drywall on the ceiling or along the top of a wall used to be a two-person task, if not more. With this tool, I was able to position and hold large drywall sheets securely overhead without needing an extra set of hands. That made the entire process more efficient and saved both my back and my patience.Assembly was quick and intuitive, and the folding design is a game-changer for storage. When I didn’t need it, the tool folded up neatly so it wasn’t constantly underfoot or taking up valuable workspace. The construction felt sturdy and stable, giving me the confidence to work safely and effectively. Whether you’re a seasoned DIYer or tackling your first major drywall project, this tool is a smart investment.

Does the job
Packaging is not sturdy, had a few holes in it and resulted in a missing nut. Not a huge extra expense but still…Otherwise works well for us as DIYers.

Descent equipment for the price, but worked!
Descent equipment for the price, but u get what u pay for. Had to weld-tach a piece so it would stay open AND gotta use a large screwdriver to keep wire from hanging while raising the load.I used mine to raise tin for ceiling. Strapped on 2x4’s & put tin on top of’em to prevent scratching…All Good!

Does the job… with a little creativity
Firstly, it works and is very well constructed for its purpose - not a iPhone in exacting fit, but exactly what is needed for this sort of tool. This is simple (heavy ish) to assemble, in all but one point. The cable that does the work has not clear way to securely hold in place. We ended up feeding through the hole as pics show, but then made a sort of too and fro between the spokes of the hand wheel, then clamped it there. Not exactly great.Last, if you’re reading this far, you need or want one. Buy it, and be prepared to work with the minor short coming of cable securing (good small C clamp).

Amazing!
My husband and I were needing to put the ceiling in the new mancave, but the ceilings were 14' and my husband had just recently had shoulder surgery. I bought this because it would go to 16'. We were skeptical at first, but it was well worth the money. We did the whole ceiling in less than a day, just the two of us. We have also used it to install false beams at an angle on the ceiling without any problems at all. We will never get rid of this and we would buy another if needed.

Worse drywall lift I’ve had yet.
Honestly, this drywall lift is a piece of crap. Worse lift I’ve had yet. If I could swear up a storm I would. I have been working on laying drywall ceilings at this house for the past few weeks. Needed something for simple 9-10 foot ceilings. The lift was working at first, besides the inner arm that holds the Sheetrock, not staying in and falling off plowing us in the foot. Then then all of a sudden just two days ago, we’re using the lift to raise the drywall to the ceiling. I set the brake at the desired height. I grab my drill from off the ground, and boom, the brake just stops working and this 8ft sheet of 5/8 just comes crashing down. On top of my head. Giant knot on the top of my head, I no longer have the box as I thought I got a good product. So now I’ve got to find a box, that’s big enough to fit all of these parts in, and send it back. Honestly, just save your money, go to Home Depot and get an actual drywall lift. This product is not worth the price that you pay, if you’re going to end up with hospital bills. Not even going to waste my time returning and blowing out my back trying to get this lift in my truck. Not going to waste anymore money, or gas finding a box for this thing. I’m just cutting my losses, and call it a day. Wife wants me to let the lawyer handle it. I’m just going to forewarn you all. DO NOT BUY THIS SCRAP METAL. Cheap, dangerous, and luckily my child wasn’t around! GOD BLESS!

It lifts drywall, also fun for role-playing that you're a pirate
The setup instructions seemed to imply it comes more assembled than it does. It's not hard to put together but the instructions are more useable as a fire starter. Mine came dented and all bent up, the instructions don't mention needing to use a mallet to whack things into place so that the bolts can go through (sadly another omission). The wheel that raises and lowers the cradle was crazy bent up, its kind of fun using it like a wobbly wheel on a pirate ship. Occasionally it makes this loud creaking sound and you wonder if the whole thing will come crashing down, also not unlike a pirate ship. The wheels/casters are pretty bad, and also like an old wooden ship it creaks around a lot when you move it. It does lift heavy sheets of drywall really high as advertised.Verdict: terrible "instructions" aside the real fault here is that it doesn't come in black and include a jolly roger flag to complete the experience. If you're looking to hang a few sheets and sail the high seas of drywall piracy it'll get the job done. If I had to use this thing daily though I'd probably walk the plank.

This lift is a game changer for 16’ vaulted ceilings
I purchased this lift to do my 3-1/2 stall garage. Two of the stalls had a 12 1/2 foot ceiling and a third stall at a 16 foot vaulted. It worked great on the ceilings and the walls. My wife would just give me a hand lifting up to a 12 foot sheet onto the lift and then I would take it from there. It basically allowed me to finish my entire garage myself. Couldn’t be happier with the product.
