Year after year, this is the one we always come back to!
We keep a rather large family calendar on the wall between the kitchen and the dining room. We have for over 15 years. We have tried all sizes and all different weekly, monthly setup calendars. THIS IS THE ONE TO GET! It has ample room for listing different activities for a VERY busy family of four (work schedules, band rehearsal and performances etc.)This is hands down the best setup and size. I need monthly view 95% of the time. This is the best month view hanging calendars...the hanger is ample, the paper sturdy...we have never had a month fall off the calendar or rip or anything.Hint: Don't throw them away at the end of the year. We keep these calendars from year to year and when we are done with one, we throw them under a couch in the den. Out of sight but amazingly useful to have. Saved our bacon more than once when we needed to remember when something had happened.

Smaller. About 23% smaller than previous years
Now 15 1/2 in x 22 3/4 in. A reduction in size from previous 20 in x 30 in. Price about the same as last year.

Best calendar for organizing appointments
If you organize your life around a wall calendar, this is the one to get. This calendar is flip style with the wire coil at the top, and a metal rod within the coil that allows hanging the calendar without it tearing through the paper. like the cheaply made calendars do. I also appreciate that there are no stupid pictures I have to look at every day, just full size lined squares to write in the information I need. The bottom edge of the calendar has all twelve months listed so you don't have to flip through the calendar to see what day is on what date. The only thing I caution about is using certain permanent markers that will bleed through the paper and mark on the succeeding sheet, so I recommend only using gel-style pens or something that won't soak through the paper. Each date has a small "running total" of days elapsed and days to come for the yearly 365 days, and all the major holidays are listed, plus some other ones that I never even heard of. The more major holidays have the date in red. I think these are federally-celebrated holidays. This is not a small calendar, filling a 23" by 15.5" space on my kitchen wall. But a good 80% of the calendar can be used for recording information, as opposed to the less-than-50% of calendars that have the top half as a pretty picture. A lot cheaper price here on Amazon than at the local office supply store, as is usually the case with Amazon. Highly recommended for those of us who need to keep an organized list of places to go, people to see and things to do.

Love the size of these
I buy one every year for the size. Plenty of space for notes, appointments, etc. I get a bunch of freebie, some really pretty, calendars from various companies, I give those to my kids and pay for this. Stupid? Maybe, but I don't actually care : ) I like not having to squint to see whose birthday it is or which kid has to go to which location and at what time, it lets me write large & legibly.

Perfect for a busy family
What we did before this calendar, I can't tell you. A family of 4, all of whom are active and doing things, from the 49-year-old to the 11-year-old, we needed this to keep ourselves organized. It's big, no doubt. But not really any larger than one of those traditional photo calendars opened up on the wall. This one the whole space is for filling in what you need to do, with the soft lines as guides on each date we can easily jot down up to 5 or 6 things (if we write small) per date. The price is right, and the paper is sturdy enough that I can write things in pencil, erase them, write something new, erase that and so on as our schedule changes. Not glossy paper, it does not smear when I erase.

Great Big Calendar
This is a very big calendar. Lots of space to enter appointments, daily work schedule hours, etc.. The numbers are dark and highly visible, as are the lines between each date -- each day has it's own well-outlined rectangle with ruled lines. It lists American, Mexican and Canadian holidays, including religious holidays for 3 different religions, and lists full moons and time-change dates. Each date notes -- in fine print -- how many days have passed and how many days are left in the year. It's 15 1/2" wide by 23" long. I also like the mini-calendar at the bottom which makes looking ahead easy. It's practical and would be good for those who need large-print. Works great for our family.

Perfect calendar for my needs
This is my third year using this calendar! It is perfect for my needs... the date boxes have lines so I can have multiple items listed each day in a neat organized format. I use different colored markers for various types of information (blue for work, red for urgent info, green for my son's appointments, etc.) and there is plenty of room for everything. I use it for my work schedule as well as my family schedule which I used to keep on 2 separate calendars ~ this one allows me to have everything available with an easy glance. I love the "months" at the bottom giving me 12 months of "dates" so I can see where various holidays etc fall in the future. I can't say enough good things about his calendar ~ I will be buying my 2018 calendar in about a year! :)

Best Calendar EVER
We purchased a different calendar and gave it away. This calendar has large area to write notes and reminders on thedate square. We like it because it is large enough to add several events in one date area and we dont have to try towrite in teeny letters. It also has a spiral top which make it super easy to hand and to turn pages. We enjoy family being able to look at calendar and seeing event reminders other family members have. This is now our "GO-TO" calendar.Highly recommend
