This pack comes with "worn effects" and "heavy chipping", both in the 35ml bottle, as well as "chipping color" and "aluminum chipping" in the 17ml dropper bottles. "Worn effects" is AK Interactive's basic chipping medium, similar to ones made by companies like Vallejo. Unlike other brands, this one goes through an airbrush without thinning and lays out very evenly. It takes a little trial and error to get it to work the way you want, but I'd say it works better than competing brands once you get the hang of it. "Heavy chipping" is similar to worn effects but produces a heavier chipping effect, as the name implies. The other 2 bottles, "chipping color" and "aluminum chipping" are standard acrylic model paints. "chipping color" is a dark brown, rusty color meant to be applied under "worn effects" and then another paint color; it's the brown color that will show through in your chipping effect. "Aluminum chipping" is a fine silvery metallic color intended to be used like "chipping color" in an effect where you'd want your chipping to look shiny and metallic, such as on a model aircraft. These colors are both thick enough to use on a brush but would need to be thinned to run through an airbrush. Like all of the AK Interactive product line, these paints and effects mediums are very, very good quality and perform better than other brands. I'm a life long hobbyist with 35 years working on models, AK Interactive stuff is as good or better than anything similar on the market. I would guess that people who professionally or competitively build and paint models or sculptures probably have this stuff in their tool boxes and getting all 4 of these bottles at this price point is a pretty decent deal.
