The cover fits the Canon G7 II perfectly and went on really easily. You won't need instruction as it's pretty obvious. The little lens cover does indeed pop up out of the way when the lens opens and isn't visible in the pictures. It might also help reduce lens flair on the wide end though I wouldn't count on that. All the prorts and dials are easy to get to still. It doesn't do much to protect the rear screen, but it isn't really designed for that. All in all, a goo accessory for a g7 II.

I like this case but it needs a larger hole over the mic area, I have lost the front cover over the lens on both of these that I’ve ordered. Overall fit is good. That’s why I’ve given it 3 stars.

Disappointed - cover came detached repeatedly - could not keep it on. Lost it finally.

Loved the color and the idea of having a case for my PowerShot SX720 HS, but even after a few seconds of attempting to place the cover on it was clear that this was never meant for my camera.

Just ok...the front lens cover falls off and doesn't stay out of way overall it is clearly made for this camera but a bit loosey goosey on the fit.

Overall, it’s ok. I thought it was a brighter green...it’s a little darker than I thought but durability seems good and it’s somewhat of a snug fit although, it could be tighter/more snug.
