I just finished assembling 2 of these. Instructions were not perfect, but easy enough to figure out if you look closely at the pictures. The only step that was troublesome is where you are putting the drawer guides onto the side boards. The text says to attach 2, the picture shows 3. The picture is correct. It was nice to not have to worry about unfinished edges as all the sides are finished. First one took me 3 hours by myself. Second took about 1.5 hours as I knew what I was doing.Drawers line up great. Only trouble was the drawer pulls don't line up with the holes, but if you gently bend them that was easily fixed.They seem sturdy. I was able to drag them across the room into place with no trouble. They're beautiful! They had no chemical smell, which was nice.So far I'm extremely happy with these desks! I'll update if anything changes.

Put this desk together two days ago, the finished product feels very sturdy. All of the guide holes for screws were there for my drawer tracks, I know some reviews mentioned these were missing. The drawers open and close smoothly and are lined up correctly upon assembly. I think this desk looks really nice and is a good size for me.I've purchased a few different assemble upon delivery pieces (bookshelves and an entertainment center), so this was definitely more complex than those but I wouldn't call it difficult. It was time consuming to assemble but my husband and I knocked it out in about four hours of work split across two days. Having two people is recommended though, putting the frame of the desk together and the hutch together needed one of us to hold pieces while the other tightened cams. I'm sure it could be managed alone but I think it would be a lot more frustrating. I think especially for the price it is an attractive desk with nice weight to it and I'm glad I bought it.

This was for my step daughter's bedroom. We were looking for something nicely sized but not too big since it was going in her bedroom. The desk is comparably priced to the quality with a couple of "buts."Color is perfect. All the pieces of the desk were clearly numbered with the exception of the drawer tracks. While the tracks were slightly embossed, the illustrations for the instructions were not as well outlined. I was able to find a YouTube video to assist. I got more value out of watching that than using the instruction manual.The desk is sturdy once put together but the small cam screws used for the shelf and drawers are cheaply formed. I put together the desk by myself and while I'm not weak, I'm typically far from strong enough to break anything metal. lol. I used a manual screw driver to assemble the desk and managed to break 2 of the small cam screws while tightening. They easily bent and broke.Overall, We are very happy with the desk. My step daughter especially. My recommendation for this is to take your time, lay out your pieces where you can see all the numbers and follow the video. The video is time lapsed so it was a lot of watch and back up but way more helpful than the printed manual.

The media could not be loaded. We're doing a remodel in our house. Our house came with a little desk in the front living room as part of the built-ins. We're going to be tearing down all the built-ins and the desk. So we needed a desk to replace that one and we're moving the desk to our master bedroom. We searched around and my wife actually found this one and said it got good reviews. Oh I got the box I was super shocked at how incredibly heavy the box was for its size. I thought that had to be a good thing. We finally got around to opening it up this past weekend and building it. wife and daughter built the majority of it but I did go in and help with some parts. Toughest part of the build was lining up the desktop to the side and back. I talk about that in the video that I uploaded. I lined up my side and kept my fingers from getting pinched while my daughter lined up the back my wife lined up the side she was on and it finally went down. But you have to line up 10 posts into the holes total to get the desktop on. That really was the toughest part of the build. A desk is very heavy and looks amazing built. I would say start to finish it took an hour and a half to 2 hours. Like I said my wife and daughter did the most work so if I had done the entire build maybe it would have taken just one hour. But my wife and daughter did a great job building it. Love the hardware that comes with it and the espresso color matches are bedroom furniture. We are super glad we took a chance on this one and the quality of the finish and parts is top notch. Wants the desk is billed you really can't tell that it's a desk that you have to put together. after I shot the video I realized that the little circle dots my daughter had put in the inside of the drawers actually cover up the metal connectors. So we pulled those off and put them on the metal connectors and cover them all. I definitely give this test five stars and if you're looking for a beautiful desk, look no further. I highly recommend this desk!!!

Like the sturdiness and weight. Assembly directions were okay, but to say this is easy to assemble is something I cannot agree with. It took us four hours and my husband is versed as a mechanic and carpenter. The look of the desk is nice. Better than pictured. Drawer sizes are good, especially the left drawer and the file drawer. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase.

We spent a lot of time looking for the right size of desk, and this one works. There was a lot involved in assembling this desk. It was time consuming, but we finally got it done. Once assembled, we found the desk very sturdy. Plenty of storage for what we need it for, and we also like the colour.

The desk took a long time to put together. I found that the directions were not always clear, especially on how to assemble the top shelf and attach it to the main body. My wife and I had a hard time with it. Once completed we really liked the desk. I would suggest that the desk legs be made so that casters could be installed if the purchaser felt they were needed. I did install casters on our desk which makes the desk easy to move once computer equipment is placed on or in it.

Once assembled the desk was perfect. It is very sturdy and stylishThe instructions were very poor especially with the drawers.Would have been a 5 star but they really need to improve the instruction's

The desk is not overly big just perfect size very sturdy my husband said it was very easy to assemble. Does not take up a lot of space perfect for the space that I needed it for

Good value for money and very sturdy. Can't say assembly was easy.
