Nice part, use it the right way
Nice little Made in USA thermostatic valve. Easy instructions. I had installed it yesterday after adding an auxilary transmission cooler to my 2006 subaru forester xt. Dont be an idiot, use 3/8 NPT adapters with thread tape. Brass fittings into an aluminum part, not using thread tape or NPT fittings is just asking for a leak, I installed this the right way and it works fine. Aluminum expands faster than copper from heat so you need to use thread tape, nothing wrong with it.

Thanks, just what I needed.

Never stopped leaking
3 out of 4 holes sealed, 1 leaked horribly. Had to remove immediately and replace with Mishimoto I like thermostat. Was not chancing adding thread tape or other sealant to engine piling system. Fitted with earls npt to AN fittings
