Beckham Hotel Collection King Fitted Sheet, Set of 2 Sheets with Deep Pockets, White

Before putting one of these sheets on the bed, I gave them a quick wash, with fabric softener in the rinse cycle. As I was pulling them out of the dryer, I was already thinking: where have you been all my life? They felt so wonderfully soft, and it had been hard to find good quality fitted sheets sold separately. My mattress is 14 inches deep. The sheet pockets fit over the corners of the mattress easily, with enough "wiggle room" for a nice thick mattress pad underneath when I replace the thin one I have now. I paired this new fitted microfiber sheet with a cotton flannel flat (top) sheet that survived after its mate, the bottom sheet, was thrown out due to pilling. The major cause of pilling is friction, so obviously the sheet that bears the weight of a human (or humans) will receive more friction than a flat sheet, especially if the humans toss and turn a lot. After much trial and error, I've decided to buy only microfiber fitted sheets from now on, because they're much less likely to pill. After a couple of washings, I can tell if a sheet is in the first stages of pilling, and so far these new Beckham Hotel Collection sheets aren't showing any signs of that.These sheets would have a much higher overall rating if it weren't for critical reviews that are unfair, because the reviewers are really to blame for their own dissatisfaction. Like the reviewer who admitted that he "was not reading closely enough to realize this set is actually 2 fitted sheets." Then he seems to be making an excuse for his mistake when he asks: "But who buys 2 fitted sheets in one package?" He gave them a 3-star rating without any specific criticism. His major complaint appears to be that he didn't get what he expected. He concludes his review with these words: "Buy this exact set if you need TWO FITTED SHEETS, then please explain to me why you needed two of them."Okay young man, and whoever else might be wondering about the need to buy two fitted sheets. As you gain experience in life, if you're like most older adults, you will discover that fitted sheets wear out much more quickly than flat sheets, due to more wear and tear from being slept ON. They're also more prone to staining and pilling, which are also reasons why you might want to replace them. At first, you'll probably buy new sheet SETS, with pillow cases included. I did that, too. And as the years go by, you'll end up with enough pillow cases for an army! You'll also have more than enough flat sheets, so at some point it won't make sense to buy anything BUT fitted sheets. It's really a no-brainer.

We love these sheets! And the price. They wash really well and have not faded. Great quality! Breathable fabric. Will continue to buy.

Very nice and soft, fits a tad loose but not as much as the one I bought two days ago. Can't give it a fair rating for wrinkle free because it fits loosely, but I don't bother me after all it's a bed. Tried it, washed it, put it back on the mattress and slept on it the same night I got it.

Comfortable and nice construction. I wish they included a flat top sheet.

I’ll admit I was one of the people who didn’t read close enough to know this was for 2 fitted sheets. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I realized what it was. I rarely use a flat sheet and instead wash my duvet cover with my fitted sheet so this is perfect! However, I do find it odd that the collection doesn’t sell top sheets at all. They seem like nice sheets but they’ll most likely be my spring/fall sheets as they don’t seem to have the cooling effect I look for in summer sheet. They may make a winter appearance but I generally prefer flannel or crushed velvet. Overall, nice sheets and with the price I paid. You

These just can’t compete with pure cotton sheets for summer, I have a high quality cotton flat sheet over this and the cotton is cool to the touch, much more absorbent and just feels better. These sheets are soft, I will give them that, but they still have that polyester synthetic almost plasticky feel, and again, high quality cotton is cool to the touch where these just feel normal. I was hoping synthetics had advanced enough to replace cotton for cheaper, but unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be the case, at least not with these. Next time I’ll just go pure cotton.

Soft grey color, fits well, soft and comfy.washes and dries and doesn't shrink. Looks expensive.
