Works in the Bathroom Sink
Before trying it, I was a little skeptical about the Brushtech Drain Brush. But my bathroom sink appeared to have a lot of gunk accumulated on the walls of the drain pipe. So I decided to give this product a go. I found that it is, just as it claims, very flexible--basically it's a long coil spring with a handle at one end and a brush at the other. After removing the sink stopper, I inserted the brush into the drain. A twist here and there and it followed the bends in the pipe till it ran out of length. Per the instructions, I ran hot water to wash the crud downstream as the brushing proceeded. The result is that the drain flows better than it has in quite a while.(My wife was even more skeptical about this product than I was. So the next time the plumber was here after I brushed out the drain, she asked him to check it. He pulled the drain apart and said it was clear.)In sum, the product is very effective in this application.

Not for cleaning air gap
This might be a good brush for something, but NOT for cleaning a dishwasher air gap. The brush went down inside but then would not come out again because the brush head was too large to go the opposite direction. My husband had to take apart the plumbing under the sink (just what we were trying so hard to avoid) and then cut the brush head off with a metal cutting tool (luckily he had one). What a fiasco. So now I am out the money for a destroyed tool, and if my husband can't get the plumbing hooked back up correctly, we'll be out a whole lot more than that. Other than that, it is a sturdy, well-made, and flexible brush, which I'm sure has SOME good use somewhere. So maybe I'll give it 3 stars rather than one.

Perfect!
This brush was the perfect choice to clean out the drains in my bathrooms. It was shopped in a box big enough to ensure that it didn't get crushed. It worked great with my sink drains. I just pulled out the stopped and ran the brush through it a few times. It is the perfect size to get passed the p traps. If your bathroom drains need cleaning because of bio slime then this is what you need!

Does a great job for the drains it can fit into
Does a great job for the drains it can fit into! Can wiggle around the rod that lifts the plunger for some drains. Will not fit around some sink drains that have the metal center-threaded feature for a drain plug. Still, I'm happy with it, even if I should have gotten the longer one!

the size of the brush fit so nice into the whole so it could remove 100% of ...
I tried a solution before buying it, and the solution did not work at all even when I poured the whole bottle and left it there for 2+ hours. This brush worked perfectly. It had to go through the pipe and had to make two turns, one 180 degree, and the other 90. It made the way through the pipe and now I have a permanent "solution" to deal with clogging problem. the size of the brush fit so nice into the whole so it could remove 100% of what had been sitting inside.

Ensure the opening of your sink is 3/8" inch or larger
This product would recieve 5 stars if all kitchen sinks had the same size drain openings. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. I was able to get the head of the brush (which contains the metalk part of the rod through the bristles to the tip of the brush) through one side of the sink which has a larger drain opening. I was able to scrub the pipes successfully on the first side. The brush was sturdy yet flexible. Now when I moved on to the second drain, that metal rod which goes through to the bristled tip, I came to find it isn't flexible and can only fit and opening of about 3/8" of an inch.Product was reliable, shipped quickly and involves no directions. Open it and get to work. The only con was that I waa unable to clean the other side of our side by side sink.

Useless
Absolutely useless. Too short and too flexible, since it's not nearly stiff enough for its intended use. The tiny brush on the end is completely ineffective. Waste of money.

Not very good
Not flexible enough to fit most of my drains. I have 1 sink where it fit and it caused a big problem. The sink drain was working a little slow so I pushed the brush through a few times. Afterwards the drain was completely stopped up and required routing. The brush had pushed all the crud in the pipe past the trap and created a clog in the pipe in the wall. The brush works OK for cleaning traps that have been removed.
