Great price point, and it uses USB-C for charging!
I purchased these primarily for the purpose of cycling, and because they use a USB-C cable for charging, and they're competitively priced. I've used them for about a month now and they've held up well.In terms of battery life, it lasts about 8 hours of continuous use, which is roughly what the manual estimates. I will say that when turned off, the battery does seem to drain more quickly than some of my other headphones, but if you're using them regularly, this won't be an issue. I only noticed because I was not able to ride my bike for a week during a heatwave. For sound quality, the bass is lacking, but I that is typical for bone conduction headphones. Overall, I think the sound quality is good for its price point. As stated, this device uses a USB-C charger, and the charge port is covered by a latch to protect it from debris. The latch can be difficult to open at times, especially if you do not have long fingernails. Not a big deal, but can get a bit annoying when you're covered in sweat after a workout. As a final note, the left earpiece has a tactile button on the outer side. The button is not obvious and the manual at first made me think the button was touch activated. This is something to watch out for, as I thought at first my button might have been defective.

Amazing if you're using them as intended.
Reviews on these are mixed at best so I figured I'd give it a shot. I have spent at least 4k on headphones from Beats to Bose to AKGs. The only thing I've never really had would be any of the newer Apple products as I've always used something android. With that out of the way these are hands down, the best open ear bone conducting headphones I've ever used. Do they beat any decent wired in ear bud in this price point at sound, absolutely not. Do they compare to comparatively priced references headphones, again, no. Where these excel however is in the very specific niche of people requiring open ear headphones for potential strenuous and or dangerous activity. In my line of work, these are indispensable for the ability to seamlessly speak with important parties while staying alert and hands free. Now, you could accomplish that with any bone conducting headphones but as I've owned multiple pairs of shockz, previous Philips bc headphones and a few other brands all in the over $100 range and I have to say these deliver the best sound quality and volume I've ever had. They also offer superior sound quality with the speakers from what I've been told to most other brands I've used. The light in the rear for me is also a great feature as I'm often on bike trails either running or cycling into the late hours and between being able to hear bikes behind me and the fact that they can see me, I feel so much safer, especially if I find myself riding on the road for a few seconds ( I could just buy a rear light but with this, that's one less thing to charge) . The only real negative I have for these is that stupid charging port. The previous generation used the same charger as my Android. I suppose this might save a sliver of internal space but I'd prefer it just be wider if it meant I didn't need to keep track of a special cord. Still, so far, there's nothing else that can check off all the boxes for me like this. If you're just an audiophile listing to your favorite music, pony up about $300- 320 for some decent reference headphones, an audio port adapter for you phone and an amp. If you're just gonna be in the gym and you're using apple products, I imagine your air pods are better. If you're gonna be outside and you need to keep your head on a swivel most of the time or you're even gonna be speaking with people while potentially otp or listening to music, I would strongly recommend these.

Do not buy these if...
These headphones are supposed to be so called 'bone conducting', but mostly blast sound toward your ear. They get uncomfortable with prolonged use due to the hard plastic casing, and hard to use the built in controls due to their soft coverings. The headphones refuse to charge after less than a week of use, and there is no info on how to troubleshoot or fix the issue. Do not buy these if you are in need a reliable, easy to use, comfortable and great sounding pair of headphones...

Good sound quality and very good bluetooth.
As with all of the bone conduction headphones I've used, these are a little lacking in bass and high end for music listening. They're amazing for podcasts and calls though. These have the best Bluetooth range of any headset I've ever used.My set developed an occasional 'buzz' in the right side that seems to come and go, I've contacted Philips about it twice and gotten no response, but they're still better than my old headset so I've continued using them.

pro tip, use a sports mask too🤘
great sound quality except when eating lolz or calls, as should be. idn, voice to microphone not going to sound good going through and around skull anyway, ppl say it sound pillow talk, and it creates one tiny hole on right skull piece, i prefer no hole, but it's expected. audios loud if needed, great battery life, no maintenance outside of charging, it charge. and i not go deaf from using in-ear tech! looked at others, best option imo. i bought a sports mask that has strap around head and ears. its great without it, but makes it more, introverted and prolly too loud 🙆

Stopped working after 4 months.
I really had no issues with the item until they stopped working for me. I had bought one for my wife and I. My wife's stopped working after 3 months, and mine a month after hers. Structurally they look fine, but it seems the buttons stop working after a period of use. If you're looking for headphones that are cheap and will last you about 4 months of use, this is a great option.Pros-Works great when it worksUSB-C Charging50% cheaper than the premier brandConsStops working after a few months of useA relatively expensive rental

Poor Quality
The headphones have buzzed since day one. I had Aftershokz previously and these are not even comparable. The cover for the charger port broke off after one week. I have been told by everyone that I talk to using the headphones and they are having trouble hearing me, I cut in and out, and the quality of the sound is poor. My $20 cheap headphones are better quality. I am extremely disappointed in these headphones. If you use the bass option, the buzzing is even worse. Don't waste your money. The only upside is the lights, however, I am not a runner, so these are useless to me.
