Q: HOw much time will it take to make one sandwich!!

When you plug in the cooker the red light comes on, which means the power is on and it is beginning to preheat. When the green light comes on it means that it is done preheating and is now ready to cook. (Do not put your meal into the cooker until the green light comes on). It only takes a couple of minutes to preheat and for the green light to come on. When the green light comes on you can place your food into the cooker and then close the lid. You can lift the lid at any time to check your food until it is done (browned or cooked to your liking). When your food is ready, remove your food and unplug the cooker. Enjoy your meal while the cooker cools and then wipe the cooled cooking surface to clean. Do not use any abrasives on any part of the cooker.

Q: what can you make with this maker

My kids primarily use it to make quick snacks. I have seen them make grilled cheese with Kraft slices, Mini Pizzas with jar sauce and mozzarella slices, eggs (pour egg beaters into the slots), pop-n-fresh cinnamon rolls. Somehow the machine knows when they are ready to eat. It is my go-to gift for busy moms or single people who don't have a lot of time to cook.

Q: Does it have wire and plugs attached with it ?

Yes. The Sandwich Toaster came with its own electrical wire and plug. Gave the unit as a gift so do not remember if the electrical plug was removable for cleaning purposes.
