I was pleased to have received the necklace that I bought from The Pearl Source. Although it was meant to be a Christmas gift, it arrived after Christmas and I had to pick it up at a UPS store. The pearl necklace: this is a 20” matinee length necklace, perfect for my height and weight(5’7”,135lbs). The pearls are very pretty, off-white, almost pinkish cream color but not white. Although the shape is not perfectly round, more like oval shaped(and that’s why it’s advertised as 8-9mm), you won’t be able to tell the variations when wearing the necklace on. They are uniformed shapes. Some of the pearls on the necklace have minor blemishes, one pearl even has noticeable circles, but it’s acceptable to me for the price. The luster is good, very pretty under daylight or limelight. Haven’t got the pearls tested but I think I’ll buy from this company again.

I am so glad I purchased this necklace! Very high quality pearls...I purchased 3 - 20" freshwater pearl necklaces. 1 from The Pearl Source, 1 from a major dept store and 1 from another vendor. The pearls I receieved from the Pearl Source were FAR SUPERIOR than the other 2. The color is an elegant ivory. The color is also very consistent. The pearls have a beautiful shape and were strung perfectly. Pearls cannot be strung too tight...The others I purchased were strung way too tightly. They had poor color and inconsistency in shape that was noticeable. After this experience and experiment I will buy all my pearls exclusively from The Pearl Source. The price is so incredible and without sacrificing quality. I am so impressed with the quality.

This is a very nice set of cultured pearls, very pretty and they are a good value for the price.They were a gift for my mother, and she is very pleased with them.They are matched well in size and color, the set I received has beautiful pale cream overtones. They have a high luster and good, sharp reflection to each pearl. There are very few, maybe 5 total, barely noticeable flaws, which is expected of natural or cultured pearls of mid to high grade.They warm nicely to body temperature and feel good on the skin.The clasp is 14k and is a little difficult to open and close. Hopefully with time, this will improve.The double box is a nice touch, but the presentation box is very plain with no logo.

I've had these pearls for 18 months now, I wear them daily, and they are still as beautiful as the day I bought them. I was tired of buying imitation pearls and having them wear out. I finally decided to try buying the real thing. The price was right, although more than I was used to spending, so I was a bit nervous. But they arrived and were even nicer than I had hoped. They have worn and lasted beautifully. I agree with other reviewers, the only downside to this necklace is the small and dainty clasp, which is quite small. I am rather dexterous, I am no klutz, and still I do find this clasp very difficult to manage--this is because it is so delicate and so thin. The manufacturers could greatly improve this necklace by providing it with a more robust clasp. NEVERTHELESS, this clasp HAS NOT BROKEN nor even become discolored. It has worked perfectly. So the complaint is not a deal-breaker. The pearls come in a decent box. Some reviewers rave about this box, but I think it is only "nice," it is not luxurious. If you are buying this necklace for a gift, the box is nice, substantial, and is definitely not "" cheap, but it doesn't scream luxury. If you are buying for someone with a real eye for detail, luxury, and quality, you may want to find a more creative way to present the pearls than in this box. Just my opinion. In short, I wanted to write this review because I have lived with this product for 18 months, and I can attest to the quality of the necklace. The pearls are beautiful, the real thing.

The necklace is beautiful and I have received many compliments on it.I actually ordered the 20" Pearl Necklace with the 14K Gold clasp, but received the Sterling Silver clasp. The box it came in said Gold, but the actual necklace had Silver clasp. I contacted the company and told them I was fine with the silver (the cost was the same). Just wanted them to be aware of the mistake. They were very nice to deal with.

This was a gift to myself to celebrate a personal accomplishment. I have always wanted a simple, elegant strand of pearls and so I shopped and researched at length as I am not a jewelry expert on any level. I finally decided on these. They arrived yesterday and they are just lovely. They are exactly the length I measured for, they are flawless. Symmetrical and a lovely color. They hang just perfectly. I did struggle with the clasp for a minute or two but figured it out easily. The boxes they arrived in ( (outer and the inner one) are nice enough to gift in if you want. I am delighted.There is no info included about how to care for your pearls but i can access that easily on line. I doubt that is a big concern for most but I really don't know much about jewelry. Anyway they are lovely.

I purchased a bracelet, a necklace and earrings from The Pear Source and they are all absolutely beautiful. I ordered on a Saturday and everything was delivered on Monday. The boxes were packed well but what I really appreciate is The Pearl Source's packaging. All the individual pieces came in nice, sturdy, cushioned, jewelry boxes. The jewelry boxes were inside of an unmarked blue box, which would be awesome for gift giving.I really like that the necklace and bracelet have fishhook clasps because I tend to break lobster claw clasps and I hate springring clasps. All the jewelry seems sturdy, which is good for me because I tend to be hard on my jewelry. Overall I am very very pleased and have already started referring my friends and family to The Pearl Source.
