Lasts a long time, VERY well wrapped, actually kind of pleasant taste. It's certainly not gourmet stuff but if you're hungry in the woods it does the job.

They taste horrible, but that's not why I got them. They are edible, dense calories, that will last nearly forever. They are sealed very well. Just wish they weren't so... chalky.

Considering what these are :bricks of condensed protein these taste surprisingly good after sampling these over time and eating many other things with them found only instant teriyaki noodles don't go well .

it is always good to have some of sort of food around for emergency. This would be the food to have.

This is for the chocolate flavor only, Compared to other long shelf life ration bars these taste pretty good. A bit like a dry cookie. I would give them an 8 out of 10 for taste. They don't really taste good enough that you would want to eat them as a snack but they don't really taste bad enough that you would dread having to eat them. I plan to purchase more in the near future

Does not taste like chocolate just look like one. Shelf life is good 10 to 15 years. Taste like wheat flour slightly sweet and not much information about minerals or vitamins in the product. Packaging is very good and taste could be improved overall if you are starving there is something there.

VERY mildly chocolate flavored, not excessively sweet. Not rock-like to chew, very easily crumbles once removed from package, don't try to eat these in bed... Taste & consistency are OK, like "food" not "candy". Goes well with a cup of coffee, you will want to drink something with these bars. Packaging seems very sturdy, might want a knife to open. All in all, a serviceable item for an emergency stash (or an emergency snack). Would buy again.

I opened one of these to see what it was like. It has a mild chocolate flavour that I didn't dislike at all but it wasn't something that I'd want to scoff either. Exactly what I would want in an emergency food. The pack has 12 vacuum foil packs and each has 2 bars in clear plastic. Total weight is 1.6 kg. It's very compact at about the same size as a kilo of flour, about 18cm x 12cm x 12cm. I bought it on a deal so it worked out about $16/kg, which is about the same as a lot of packs of cereal. For me it's just great to have something very shelf stable to keep in the car or a bag or whatever for times when you might need it.

Son muy ricas, se siente que te llenan aunque sean relativamente pequeñas, ademas que duran muchos años en resguardo.

Sanno di biscotto, pensavo si facesse molta polvere soffocante ma non è così, solo che una volta mangiato devi assolutamente bere! Almeno a me veniva una sete.. e il sapore di cioccolato non si sente gran che. Tutto sommato è un buon prodotto da usare in emergenza quando si fa una scampagnata o attività all'aperto. Non possono sostituire un pasto completo per via delle vitamine ecc, quindi in via occasionale sono ottimi! 4,5 stelle
