STIGA Pro Carbon+ Table Tennis Bat for Advanced Players

I’m an amateur player & have always played with whatever was reasonably priced. Recently I had purchased a racquet & though it was OK wasn’t really happy with it. I splurged a bit on this one & it hasn’t disappointed. It grips the ball better to get better top spin, is fast but not too fast, good mix of control & spin.

I've used the Stiga Pro Carbon for years and it has dominated the arms race at my office. If you are an offensive player that uses spin and power, this is your paddle. It's an upgrade over the Stiga Pro Carbon. Very light, very easy to hold.I wouldn't recommend this for beginners. It will be hard to control and if you hit the ball hard without spin it's going to launch on you.I'd use something like a Stiga Optima or or something with more control at first.Great paddle - Stiga Pro Carbon +Control: 85Power: 100Spin: 100The thing is a nuclear weapon. People flinch when I hit my hardest with it. Should only be in the hands of someone that knows what they are doing. :-)

Would have expected a better quality for the price. Bought this after reading that it's the best pre-made Stiga. Unfortunately, could have been much better.Overall it's good for beginners, however if you're looking for a better rubber, you must look elsewhere

Passant d'un mode pur amateur (depuis plusieurs décennies ceci étant), à un mode licencié en club, c'était l'occasion pour moi de passer à un modèle de raquette un peu plus haut de gamme que les raquettes jusqu'ici utilisées en vacances et dont personne ne prend vraiment soin ;)Après avoir étudié de nombreux comparatifs, de forums dédiés etc, je me suis tourné vers ce modèle Carbon Pro+ qui se retrouve dans bon nombre de classements des meilleurs raquettes.Bien sûr, tout ceci est toujours très subjectif, étant donné les innombrables modèles disponibles sur le marché.Voici mon retour après quelques séances.✅ Déjà STIGA est une marque réputée dans ce domaine, et ne propose aucun "mauvais" produit, donc rien que ça, c'était déjà un gage de ne pas risquer d'être déçu✅ Le grip (d'origine du moins) est vraiment incroyable, et pour les amateurs d'effets en tout genre comme moi, c'est un régal, j'ai remarqué que mes adversaires étaient bien plus gênés qu'avec l'ancienne raquette.✅ Le contrôle est très bon aussi, même si la raquette est typée "jeu offensif", ce qui n'est pas spécialement mon cas, alternant défense et attaque, selon l'adversaire, je suis pleinement satisfait du contrôlé conféré.✅ Je confirme cependant le côté offensif, car la raquette est très rapide quand vous avez besoin offrant des smashs assez épiques, sans effort en plus.✅ La raquette est bien équilibrée, et assez légère✅ Les mousses sont épaisses (2mm) et contrairement à d'autres commentateurs, capable de descendre un produit pour un point de colle (sic!), pas d'anomalie sur mon exemplaire, parfaitement assemblé et collé.✅ La technologie « Touch Carbon », qui d'après STIGA offre "un plus grand sweet spot et une frappe plus nette" : je confirme, j'ai ressenti une nette différence par rapport à mon ancienne raquette.❌ Le petit bémol que je peux formuler, c'est le manche que je trouve particulièrement court, moi qui aie des grandes mains, j'aurais apprécié un peu plus de longueur, même si ce problème se retrouve sur la majorité des raquettes, donc si vous avez des mains standards, ignorez ce point.❌ Je regrette qu'aucune housse STIGA ne soit fournie avec la raquette, vous devrez vous équiper en sus. Ne vous fiez pas au descriptif qui indique que le "packaging exclusif peut servir de housse". Je conteste formellement : évidemment que non, ce coffret en carton épais ne fera pas long feu si vous le trimballez dans un sac. En plus de ne pas du tout être pratique au niveau du format.En conclusion, conquis par les qualités intrinsèques de la raquette, mais pas du tout par le packaging. L'absence de housse est vraiment pénalisant, et fait perdre 1 (grosse) étoile à ma notation.

This may not be the best for beginners. For beginners I suggest stiga Pro carbon (NOT THE PRO CARBON +)As an intermediate/pro player this is a fast paddle. The blade itself is quite light in weight but the rubber is very thick and causes the the paddle to be top heavy. My previous paddle was a stiga pro carbon, and it was phenomenal. Upgrading to the Pro Carbon + did have a significant change in the gameplay and it did make my back hand smashes easier. It is definitely worth buying IF you have already tried the stiga pro carbon. I would recommend the pro carbon first before trying the pro carbon +

Bought this bat before I started making my own bats, which is highly recommended since you can make a bat that suits your play and not the other way around.I expected this bat to be really fast, and even when it's faster than other cheaper premade bats, it felt slow. I had to put more power than I should to get the bat over the net with loops and flicks, and I thought that it was my technique. I lent it to some of my friends who are more advanced than me and they said that it was slow (even when their bats were 5-7 layers of wood and rakza 7 soft/nittaku fast arc g1 kind of rubbers). When one of my rubbers was damaged in the middle, I took the risk and peeled the rubber off, and luckily it came off in one piece without damaging the blade, and so did the other side. I sealed the blade (highly recommended, it's like a thin layer of varnish), and put new rubbers on... The blade has such a great feeling and feedback! With almost all the rubbers I've tried on it, it feels great, very controlled shots, very consistent... I've used on it AK47 yellow/Red, then Moon Galaxy tense (the one who's performed the worst by the way, Rakza 7 soft -super nice-, and Rakza X -super nice as well-).I am not sure if my rubbers were somehow off, because it seems to be a very indulgent blade, seems to go well either with soft rubbers for a medium speed bat with great control, or with harder/springier rubbers for an offensive setup. I've not tried it with high end rubbers such as Tenergy, MX-P or Dignics, but I would like to hear if anyone has done it.
