8 QT 4 Piece Stainless Steel Multi-Cooker

Discolored and warped after first use. Waited too long after I bought it to use it the first time so I wasn't able to return it. Ended up throwing it in the garbage.

I am so saddened by how quickly the inner pot has rust spots. Its supposed to be stainless steel. This is ridiculous. Inspite of the reviews i gave this product a shot, money in the drain. Its been only used a handful of times. Horrible!

I read many reviews that were critical of this pot/steamer. Most indicated that it appeared to them to be cheaply made. Well, it is cheap (low cost). Really cheap for what you get. The only possible fault I can see is the thin gauge of the stainless. But for what it's intended, boiling water/pasta and steaming food, it's perfectly adequate. If you are hoping for a heavy stock pot, you're not getting it. That said, I'm sure it would be fine for thin broths and soups where hot spots aren't an issue.What you do get is a 4 piece set that includes both a steamer basket and a colander basket. I priced a stainless colander basket of similar size for a pot I already own. The least expensive one I could find was $10 more than this set. The fit of lid and baskets is very good, the lid is nicely made, and the exterior is highly polished. I astounded that there have been reviews criticizing the quality. I see this as one of the best bargains I've found on Amazon. If you're looking for a pasta/steamer pot of this size, you cannot go wrong.

I originally purchased this item so I could smoke foods indoors. The perforated baskets enable one to use this pot as a smoker, in addition to using the pot to steam and boil foods. While I haven't used this pot as a smoker yet, I do use it several times a week to cook dinner. You can boil potatoes, boil pasta, or steam vegetables, meat, or fish, all at the same time, which makes preparing dinner a snap. The baskets are generously sized and easy to clean. The glass lid allows you to monitor cooking progress without removing it and allowing steam to escape. The metal is pretty thin, but so far it has not affected the pot's performance. The price point was surprisingly low, so you really can't go wrong, buying this multipurpose pot. I have to confess I am very pleasantly surprised that it is as versatile as it is.

The pasta pot is a great value and help canning veg and fruit. From draining produce to steaming jars, this pot is great!

1st impression is that it's smaller than I expected. I have a visual brain & need cues for gauge. The phrase "8 qts" means little to me! Oh I KNOW it's 2 gallons, but as far as pot size? Zilch! Either the photos lacked these cues or I didn't look closely enough. It's heavy so I believe it will cook well w/o scorching. Locks are mentioned on this review page, but I haven't used the pot so IDK yet. Cleaning should be easy unless there are grooves that may need special attention.

Above picture is after using pot, 3 times. Twice to boil pasta, Once as a steamer...Very thin bottom to pot, overall not very good quality

This Pot works well as a steamer/pasta with two different steamer options.However, I found this pot did not work on my induction hot plate. I did not return it,because I like the steamer/pasta baskets and they fit my other quality 6qt and 8qt pots.The main pot is too thin for cooking. The bottom is extremely thin and cheap.Ok for the steaming liquids and not for cooking. Anything touching the thin bottom directly will burn.

I needed a new steamer for a while to use on my cooktop. I love it!!!! It is nice looking, sturdy, cleans up beautifully.
