This primer has become one of my favorites! The gel texture feels lightweight and hydrating, and it leaves my skin feeling smooth and ready for makeup. It has a nice tacky finish that really helps my foundation grip and stay in place throughout the day. My makeup looks smoother and seems to last longer without feeling heavy or dry. A little goes a long way, and it works well with the other products in my routine. Such a great primer for the price!

OMG what can I say about this product that isn't just gushing compliments? It has been a literal game changer for my makeup in how it looks and lasts throughout the day. Primer is a MUST for any mature woman IMHO and after trying this product, I have found my go to. Literally a dab will do you around each part of your face. It creates a slightly tacky, but sheer, feather lite layer on your face for your makeup to grip to and grip it does. I love how you cannot tell you're wearing anything underneath or that makes you feel like you're layering. Price point is unmatched for the quality and amount of product here. ELF really has outdone itself with this. Cannot recommend enough!

Amazing! Love the grip. Some people may not. I love how it holds all day. Very powerful. It comes in a larger size I see and tempted to buy before I run out. E.L.F has so many products and I am a loyal customer. It is all it says it will do.

Compared to the expensive ones this one is way better. Ive tried many over the years cuz I have oily skin and I wear a full face of make up. Definitely matte. Slides on my skin great. No smell ... it's a bit sticky but slides on with no issues. My daughter uses this one too as she has tried many as well.

I've tried a lot of primers over the years and this is one of the few that feels like it's actually doing something. The gel texture goes on smoothly and gives the skin a slightly tacky feel that really helps foundation and concealer adhere better without feeling heavy or uncomfortable. I noticed my makeup looked more even throughout the day and didn't break apart as quickly around my nose and chin, which are usually the first areas where I see wear. What I like most is that it adds hydration without making my skin feel greasy, so my makeup ends up looking more natural instead of dry or cakey after several hours. The mini size is also a great option because it gives you enough product to really test it before committing to the full size, and since only a small amount is needed for each application it lasts longer than you might expect. While it won't completely replace good skincare or guarantee perfect makeup all day, it definitely improves the overall look, wear time, and smoothness of my makeup enough that I can see why it has become such a popular product.

I love this primer. It is super sticky when you first put it on, but once it’s dry, it’s good. And it absolutely holds your make up in place all day.

Power Grip Primer ist ein echtes Arbeitstier: geruchlos, sehr ergiebig und dank seiner leicht klebrigen Textur ideal, um Foundations dauerhaft zu fixieren, ohne sich in Poren abzusetzen. Für mich eines der besten Preis-Leistungs-Produkte in der Drogerie. Textur & Duft Der Primer hat eine weiche, gelartige Konsistenz, die sich beim Verteilen gleichmäßig auf der Haut anfühlt. Er ist leicht klebrig — genau das, was den Halt der Foundation verbessert — hinterlässt aber keinen unangenehmen Film. Es ist kein wahrnehmbarer Duft vorhanden, was für empfindliche Nasen oder parfümempfindliche Haut sehr angenehm ist. Auftrag & Ergiebigkeit Eine erbsengroße Menge reicht in der Regel für das gesamte Gesicht. Er lässt sich mühelos verteilen (mit den Fingern, einem Pinsel oder einem Schwamm) und zieht schnell an, bleibt dabei jedoch leicht tacky, damit die darauffolgende Foundation „greift“. Weil man so wenig braucht, ist das Produkt sehr ergiebig — eine Tube hält bei normaler Nutzung lange. Haltbarkeit & Finish In Kombination mit verschiedenen Foundations hält mein Make-up den ganzen Tag. Die leicht klebrige Basis fixiert flüssige wie auch cremige Foundations sehr zuverlässig, ohne dass das Make-up rutscht oder Flecken bildet. Das Finish bleibt natürlich bis semi-matt, je nach Foundation; stark glänzende Stellen (bei sehr öliger Haut) können im Laufe des Tages etwas wiederkommen, lassen sich aber gut mit Puder kontrollieren. Poren & Hautbild Trotz der Textur setzt sich der Primer nicht in Poren ab oder betont sie. Er glättet feine Unebenheiten sichtbar und lässt die Hautoberfläche gleichmäßiger aussehen. Bei sehr trockener Haut kann er minimal betonen, wenn die Haut vorher nicht ausreichend gepflegt wurde — eine feuchtigkeitsspendende Pflege darunter hilft hier. Kompatibilität Funktioniert zuverlässig mit allen Foundations, die ich ausprobiert habe (von leichten Tinted Moisturizers bis zu voll deckenden Formulierungen). Er ist daher sehr vielseitig einsetzbar — sowohl für Alltag als auch für stärkere Make-up-Looks. Tipps zur Anwendung • Menge: erbsengroß reicht meist. Zu viel Produkt kann die Haftung beeinträchtigen. • Verteilen: in kreisenden/wegstreichenden Bewegungen mit den Fingern auftragen oder leicht einklopfen. • Kurz anziehen lassen (ein paar Sekunden), dann Foundation auftragen — die klebrige Oberfläche sorgt für besseren Grip. • Bei sehr trockener Haut vorher eine leichte Feuchtigkeitscreme verwenden; bei sehr öliger Haut gelegentlich mit einem dünnen Puder abmattieren.
