Gave to my granddaughter for her birthday. She seemed pleased.

I brought this tool roll for paint brushes but it also works well for steel files as long as they are not too long (about 10") or too wide (about 3/4"). Seems to do a good job at isolating and protecting the file teeth. Well made and should last a long time. Good product at a reasonable price. Will probably buy at least one more.

Product is perfect for watercolor brushes. Top is long enough to fold over and secure the brushes. Canvas is sturdy and functional. Appreciate the appearance is professional vs. crafty looking.

I am impressed with the quality of the material and size.

The roll is made of canvas, thick and nice. Stitching is ok. It looks exactly as pictured. It holds a bunch of pens or paint brushes. The top folds over so stuff would not fall out. The strap for holding pens in place is also made of canvas. I thought it would be elastic, but it is not.It is pretty good and useful to keep everything in place

At first I liked it. I've always wanted one. It made me feel like a "real" artist. There is plenty of room for all my brushes, however since there is no flap or anything to hold the brushes in, when it tips the brushes fall out. I've already lost a couple of my favorite brushes this way. I'm sad this is the situation and am already looking for a container that completely encloses the brushes.

And now, a guest review from my wife, the artist in the household:I like this brush roll.It's a good size -- I've seen bigger ones that hold more brushes, but I can't imagine needing or *wanting* more brushes. There are ten regular sized pockets (which are big enough that you could double up a small or medium thickness brush if you wanted) plus one larger pocket, which is plenty. Note that I do watercolor, gouache and some acrylic painting; oil painting brushes are longer, from what I've seen, so check the measurements if you're an oil painter to make sure your brushes won't stick out the top.The fabric is sturdy, and feels like it'd protect my brushes from common use/transport. You don't want to sit on the brush roll, or put anything really heavy on it while it has brushes in it, but I'd feel comfortable tossing it into my art bag and having it, say, fall off a bench or get whacked on a tree, something like that. The fabric is stiff enough to feel like decent protection, but still flexible enough that it rolls up easily. The ties are basic but work just fine, with one overhand knot enough to keep everything together.Good product, recommended
