I love the wrist rests that come with it. you can mount the wrist rests or leave them off and you can put them anywhere you like or where ever is comfortable. very solid product, my desk will break before this thing does. Favorite part of this product is the tilt option so it can lean toward you or away for maximum comfort. The only negative thing that I can think of is the little sticky wire holders they give you don't stick very well but it is fine with me because it is still working great as a cable management tool.=) Ultimately very happy and worth the value I paid without a question. Review: Sturdy and versatile keyboard tray - I am using this keyboard with an electronic height adjustable desk. It is fabulous and I can't imagine my set-up without it. I have 3 monitors and this keyboard swivels, allowing me to face a particular way if necessary. It also slides in and out so that it can be hidden away. Lastly it adjusts up and down easily so that I have options when I sit versus stand if necessary. It was easy to install and my desk is fairly shallow and has a metal bar accross the middle so I needed to use the additional mounting bars. Still super easy to install.

Good product, can be improved however..
First of all, I have to say I don't review many products. I'm an incredibly lazy consumer from this perspective, but I felt like the community deserved my perspective on this product, so I'm going to give it. Giving a rating to a product like a keyboard tray isn't easy. I wanted to be logical about this, so I decided to rate it 4 different metrics. I'll give my score for each metric then elaborate on my reasoning for the score. 1. Build quality: 4 2. Ease of installation: 5 3. Features: 4.5 4. Price 3 So lets start with build quality. The product is constructed with very good materials. The board, the tray, the mechanisms; they all feel pretty robust like it will last for years. As a matter of fact, I was very surprised and happy at how strong and large the actual board was. While I'm not able to measure lbs per sq inch, I feel like the tray does a good job of supporting my weight when I'm typing, even with the keyboard fully extended. I'm pretty happy with the product in this regard, but there is some room for improvement here. As someone else has pointed on, this particular product doesn't have ball bearings in the actual slot for sliding mechanism. As a result, if you attempt to pull or push the tray and your angle of attack exerts too much pressure, you will not have an easy time. In addition, the mechanism to lock the tray a the desired angle and height is sometimes difficult to work with. You need to thread the knob through an eye and into a small hole on the bar/gear mechanism. Unfortunately it's not easy to orient the bar to do this. The supplied gel pads in my opinion are very good and I have no complaints. I only needed to use the one for the mouse and so far, it's very comfortable and feels like it will last. Installation. I'm pretty handy with tools and frankly, I didn't even look for instructions. They provided enough screws and everything intuitively fit together. No complaints on this front. In terms of features, I thought this keyboard had exactly what I was looking for. First of all, my desk bars underneath it to support the wood. This was one of the only trays that provided brackets to circumvent those darn bars. Also, the ability to swivel, adjust the height and tilt are tremendous features. There is still room for improvement here I believe. When you are forced to use the brackets because of the bars, you loose some height and the brackets are fairly tall, sometimes double the height of the bars under the desk. Perhaps the brackets can be made adjustable so that it can accommodate multiple scenarios? In addition, the sliding mechanism for this desk -- not having ball bearings at this price point I feel is almost unforgivable, especially when products at lower price points have ball bearings, but not gonna ding it twice for ball bearings :). Finally price. This product in my opinion is a bit expensive. As a matter of fact, it stood out to me because of it's price as nearest competitor in terms of features being $90 bucks. The only feature that product was missing was the brackets but it had tilt, swivel, and height adjustment. Overall, I felt like this product should have been at most $90 to $100 bucks, but I paid the extra $30 or whatever because of the brackets. So overall, i'd give this product a 4 star rating. It's not perfect, it has tons of flaws but I'm pretty happy with my purchase. If you can overlook some of the things that I've pointed out, then I think you'll be happy with it as well.

Very well built, solid, works great
The tray is very solid with little wobble and the adjustments work well. Installation was easy but I was lucky as my desk happens to have a wooden support slat under the top running front to back that I could fasten the keyboard support to. The whole thing is solidly built and works smoothly. The tray is large and surprisingly strong given how thin it is. My only gripe is that tray doesn't drop down low enough to allow my keyboard to fit under the desk, but my Kinesis Advantage2 is an unusually thick keyboard so I can't complain. I don't use the wrist supports. There is plenty of room for my Apple Trackpad next to the keyboard and a simple beanbag wrist rest works fine with that.

Very good and very bad
I love that this has so many adjustments. You can really get it to sit any way you want it to. It is very ergonomic. You can adjust the try so many different ways, you can get your keyboard to sit however you want it. The problem is that it is so hard to push in (to under your desk) and pull out, it makes you not want to put it away, ever. I have it out now, all adjusted to how I like it but I won't push it back in because it is too hard to do so and then it will be too hard to pull out again. Too bad because I do not want my keyboard out all the time. If I hadn't paid my handyman to install it for me, I would return it and try to get something else that is easier to use.

Solid and Ergonomic
I wanted a wide, sturdy keyboard shelf and this fits the bill. My desk is too big to turn over for installation, so I had to do it upside down from underneath. I'm not a handy guy, but found it easy to do by myself and it took far less time than I expected. Just drill few pilot holes and drive some screws. The mechanism is heavy and solid, with no wobble in the shelf. It's more adjustable than my old shelf and I was able to get it in just the right position for my comfort. I did not use the extender brackets for desks with a center beam so it doesn't hang down very far, and even though I have long legs, I haven't bumped my knees like other reviewers mentioned. I found cheaper keyboard shelves but am happy with this one. Pros: sturdy, ergonomic, easy to install. Cons: a little pricier than I though a shelf might be, but no regrets.

Not worth the money!
The pros for this tray are it's size and it doesn't wobble. At the the $127.00 price point, it's a rip-off. You can get a decent tray for around 2/3's that cost. The brackets included to accommodate rail reinforced desks or those with a lower ridge on the front edge are a poorly engineered afterthought. They are out of spec, meaning the pieces that make up each bracket are not sized appropriately. Adjusting the height settings illustrates this, because the vertical supports that fit into the brackets are too large to fit flush, resulting in a crooked fitment. The included screws are the absolute cheapest make, which leads me to my next point. The included hardware is lightweight, undersized and poorly threaded leading to cross-threading if you're not careful. The way they sized this was to give you screws that are barely long enough to make a purchase on your installation surface. There's no way I would trust that hardware for serious work on a keyboard on a regular basis. The instructions are obviously the result of Google translate, containing words that don't exist or coordinate with the parts to which they are referring (what the heck is a wirle or a stir?) I was even left with a spare part, the "plate" a piece of what looks like lucite or some other polymer with adhesive on either side. There is absolutely no mention what to do with that part, it is listed in the parts, but what it's for is a mystery. After I installed it, it sticks and skips along it's track. The motion is anything but smooth. For $127.00 every aspect of this unit should have at least worked without issue, the hardware should have been appropriate for it's use and it should function smoothly. Unfortunately, none of those things are true. I looked up the manufacturer's web site and there is no support mentioned. It looks thrown together, just like this poorly engineered, overpriced item. I am not a happy customer. I would strongly advise that others look elsewhere for a better, more realistically priced keyboard tray.

Best for keyboard tray yet! Works great for standing and even walking desks!
As other reviews stated not all of the included keyboard tray mounting screws were long enough. However, with one quick email to Cartmay and they sent out replacements promptly. The overall quality and sturdines of this product was well worth it. I have use many keyboard trays but this is the first one I feel is sturdy enough for use with a standing desk and treadmill. The adjustments are easy to be made and cover all of my needs. Finally the extra mounting bracket allowed me to mount it perfectly even with a bar running under my standing desk as advertised. In short I love this product and would highly recommend.

Sturdy and adjustable
It's quite sturdy considering it's size, and very adjustable. I especially like that I can swing it 180 degrees out of the way. Installation is a bit tough, but not surprising considering how heavy it is.

So much easier to work from home now!
I love it! It's not the smoothest to move back and forth but it's lovely and big and does all the things I need it to do. Saves me from having carpal tunnel flare ups.
