Did the job. Works good. better polish when wet just remember to wipe the sections down on the rough stages to clear it from dust then go to high polish

Perfect for polishing granite tile edges.
These polishing pads worked great for polishing our countertop 26" x 18" granite tile edges. Highly recommended. Note that you will also need a Variable-Speed Angle Grinder for this job, which we had a hard time finding locally, so you may want to look at purchasing that online as well as the diamond polishing pads. We ended up using a Dewalt variable-speed angle grinder that we found in an auto shop in town and it worked perfectly. The granite edges polished up beautifully after using the pads (several minutes per pad). It matched up well with the factory-polished edges. We also bought the 4" Semi-Rigid Flexible Back Holder / Backer Pads for diamond polishing pads to use with the pads. It worked great also. Very satisfied customer.

Pads work gr8! The only request I would have is to send 2ea of the 50 grit. It wears out quicker than the rest for obvious reasons. Otherwise they are great

Good quality and performance
I'm not a professional stoneworker, but I had some calcium builup around the stopper in our marble vessel sink. I wanted to buff it out so I could re-treat it with that ridiculously expensive stone sealer. I researched Youtube and found that the final grit for stone is usually 1500 or 3000. So, I ordered this 3000 and a white buff pad (seperate review). It worked pretty well, but I think I would have a better job if I would have gotten the 1500 also, and worked my way to 3000 then the buff pad. Anyhow, they performed as advertised and are really good products.

Meh
Bought these pads to do a few edges on some granite tiles....followed the instructions but found that the tiles were still not very shiny. Don't know why. May have to retry them later. Pads were easy to switch out.

but the cement looks a bit like my granite countertop
I haven't tried any different brands, but these seem to be holding up well. I have polished up about 5 square feet of cement and the 50 grit pads only appear about 1/3 worn out. The higher grit pads don't seem to have a noticeable wear. It takes quite some time, but the cement looks a bit like my granite countertop.

Great sanding pads
used to polish out a peice of granite, I am extremely happy I purchased this set. Okay they are not the least expensive set out there, but you get what you pay for. They did the job with no issues and less wear and tear then I expected, so I will have them for next time I get a wild hair and try to do something I have never done before like work a peice of granite!
