Took it to VA Beach and it works well. It's thick and this thing will not bend in any way. I'm 5'6" and it was just the right length for me. Highly recommend it.

This tool satisfied all my needs. It is light...digs very easily....I also use it at times as a walking stick when I tire. You can't beat it for the money!!

Very well made, BUT the compact design caused the wet sand to stick inside even when turned over and repeatedly banged on the ground . Struggled to get the sand out. Would NOT recommend for the surf (which was what I intended to use it for). Really hoped this was going to be my go-to scoop. Love the handle and size but the performance lacked.

Loved this scoop at the beach. I dug numerous coins and rings anywhere from 1 to 8 or more inches with it. Super tough and easy to use. I just drug it behind me as i hunted and it left a line that i could know where id been. Great addition and kept me from crawling around in the sand with my hand coop. Curved handle is a must. Made digging easy.

I used it for the first time at a beach with many rocks and and shells. It worked as intended! The scoop is stainless steel with a piece of steel expertly welded to the scoop and handle to reinforce the weak spot. Well designed!

The scoop is very sturdy, well made and should last for many, many years. The bent handle is ideal for me at 5'2" to use as a scoop as well as a "cane" at the end of a long hunt.
