Great knives. Wonderful company.

I bought these knives because my other steak knives were breaking where the knife meets the handle because the knife only extended about a half inch into the plastic handle. I like that these knives extend completely through the handle and are riveted to the handle. They come sharp and are easily sharpened. The only reasons why they are not 5 stars is that they are a little thin and flex when cutting dense food like 2LB block cheese and also are recommended hand wash only. But for the price I am satisfied overall considering most sets of steak knives are much more expensive.

A good basic non-serrated steak knife. I hadn't noticed the Farberware logo on the blades. I had hoped there were no markings. My mistake. As other reviews have noted, they are a little light. I don't really mind the weight, I do like the shape and that they were sharp right out of the packaging. I'm giving five stars because they do what a steak knife should do, with the understanding that I paid only $2.50 each

We usually use cheap serrated knives for everything. When eating steak though, you really want a nice sharp knife to slice through that medium rare goodness. These are sharp, easy to hold and have a great price. As noted by others, these are not dishwasher safe and WILL rust is not cleaned and dried properly. Well worth a little extra care though.

These knives would be appropriate for one's first apartment, but they are nothing that I would be proud to have guests use. They are very lightweight, and yes they are triple riveted but that means little when the handles are thin plastic. They are not dishwasher safe, and I have reason to believe it is because the plastic would melt off during a drying cycle. As these become dull, I would make no attempt to sharpen them but instead spend the extra $10 and get a more solid set.

We were gifted a Cutco kitchen knife set, so we donated our old knife block and all of the knives from that old set. I recently began eating more steak and it occurred to me that we had inadvertently donated all of our steak knives. I did not notice when I ordered these Farberware steak knives that they are not serrated (which is what essentially defines a good steak knife). But these are very nice steak knives nonetheless. They slice my medium-rare steaks nicely and without difficulty despite not being serrated. I did deduct one star because they do feel slightly cheap - as if more material could have been used to make them heavier and feel sturdier.

Steak knives stay sharp, they still work great 6 months later!

Bons couteaux qui coupent plutôt bien, passent au lave vaisselle et sont assez résistants. Seul petit point négatif, le tranchant s'émousse donc vos couteaux ne sont plus aussi tranchants. Néanmoins se sont de bons couteaux de table
