Great fun for our high energy dogs!
I ordered 3 of these so we'd have backups, we tend to toss them on our roof and into the neighbor's yards! Not to mention our little blue healer can destroy a frisbee in a few days if it isn't super tough. Fortunately these are tough! The slots in them make them great to throw and retrieve. We've gone through 10 or more types of frisbees and this one has been my favorite. Kong makes a good frisbee but there are no holes so it's more difficult for the dogs to pick them up and they are a bit heavier, not at "catchable" for the dogs as these!

Not for playing catch
This is made of really heavy rubber and doesn't fly well at all. Almost impossible to throw straight. Probably doesn't matter if using, primarily, in the water. Avoid this is you want to play catch.

Poor flying
This seems to be sturdy, but as many others purchasers have noted, it is very flawed as a dog retrieving toy. 1) It is heavy, and does not float on the air like a regular Frisbee. It won't fly straight no matter how I flip it and it won't go far. 2) It is absurdly heavy, and if it hits your dog, it's going to hurt. Your dog won't be catching it in his mouth either! 3) It is very flat and hard for the dog to pick up.

Strong!!!
It's strong enough to withstand our pair of border collies for a few months! We always buy this toy every time it wears out. It's soft on their mouths and yet withstands their tussle over who gets to bring it back to the thrower. It's the best dog frisbee we have ever found! And if I throw the frisbee on its side it lands and rolls quite a ways on our laminate floor. I do this a lot since we play with the frisbee in our house. We have space to do so, by the way, without hurting anything. Don't play in the house if you don't have a place to throw it of course! But the materials used for this frisbee are just perfect for the task it is intended for. We have taught our dogs not to carry the frisbee to their beds for just chewing on it. We don't allow that because it will last even longer than if they did that. We have other objects for them to just chew on. But this frisbee does not chew up easily!

Good value for a trial run
Only gave it 4 stars because I have not seen one like it before. So yes it is difficult to review honestly. Plenty of places for my dog (60# Pitt-rott mix) to grab a hold. Trying this one since the price was better than a mint. Flies great but not so sure how long it’ll hold up. Have to wait to see

My dog’s favorite toy
The media could not be loaded. These frisbees are my dogs favorite thing in the world. He knows where we keep them and will try and get to them any chance he has, he looses his mind any time we take him outside with one, he will run himself half to death if we keep throwing it. I have bought multiples because nothing else compares - it’s the only toy he’s loved this much.I will say it’s not for chewing, if left unattended it can be chewed through pretty quickly since it’s made of lighter material. We bring it out for playtime and then hide it in a closet all other times to keep it safe. But I would 100% recommend - especially if you have a high energy dog who loves to chase toys. (Ours is a border collie/mini Aussie and he never tires). We like to throw it sideways so it rolls on the ground and it’ll go pretty far once you get the hang of it - our dog loves to run alongside it until he can catch it.As far as throwing it traditionally, it throws fine as well it’s just easier to throw on its side in our experience. We’ll continue to buy these as long as they remain for sale.

Didn't last long
They lasted intact for about 5 days. My dog loves to fetch them and use them for tug o war (wouldn't recommend that part if you're looking for durability)
