What I liked was the quality of the item and the easy IKEA style construction. Very good and easy to put together, no instructions , but it makes sense. One thing i added to me putting this item together, I applied some wood glue as added strength, plus the wood screws that came with the banana stand. Know my bananas have got their own private place and won't force my other fruits to ripen before thier time😳. Dislikes and it's a very small,the banana hook too me looks feeble but it's is strong enough for the job it's designed for. Overall a good addition to your kitchen if you have a natural wood style kitchen, will look out of place in a high tech stainless steel type of kitchen. Very good item too have👍🏾.

Easy to assemble
Base is easy to attach to stand with screws supplied. Seems to keep bananas from ripening too quickly.

Handy Gadget!
A sturdy stand for bananas, we use ours in the kitchen. Simple to assemble and can hold up to eight bananas, a greater number would be inadvisable!

Care is needed when assembling
The holder comes in two parts and two screws are supplied to assemble it. You will need a Phillips screw driver to attach the two parts together. This is not supplied. Also the screws are of the 'self tapper' type. This means that unless you carefully line the pre-drilled holes up, it is quite easy to miss them. The screws will 'bite' into the wood anyway and you can easily damage the stand as I did. If metal screw inserts had been put in the base, then it would have been much easier and safer to assemble the holder without any damage.
