TM-U220B, Impact, two-color printing, 6 lps, Serial interface only, Power supply, Dark gray

This was a replacement unit for a similar but much older model. On a whim I decided to try to hook it up to the old connections before doing a lot of work to run the new wires through the wall. To my surprise it worked perfectly and only the printer itself had to be changed out.

Good, solid printer that should last for years. Last one got 8 years out of it. Doesn't come with an ethernet adapter, so I had to rip it off the old one, and that's the reason for the lack of 5 stars. Flipped the little switchy things in the back to match the old one, plugged it in and it worked right away without any further configuration

Works very well as advertised. I needed this RIGHT AWAY from my Cafe which uses Micros(Oracle) as the service provider. My previous U220B printer just broke down out of nowhere and Micros wasn't able to fix it over the phone for me.Micros was charging me RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF $800 just to have this set up at my Cafe as the service fee.I ended up setting this up by myself without much trouble and installed this equipment in 10minutes!

Works as intended for Aloha POS. Be sure to check if you need serial or Ethernet interfaces. Be sure to note the dip switch settings on the old printer before trying to use it on your system.

I purchased this TM-U220B printer to replace a Micros branded printer (of the exact same model) in a restaurants kitchen. It was hundreds cheaper than the price of the Micros branded version so it was worth a try for me. I received it, pulled the interface card out of my old one, popped it into the new one and it started working immediately. My last one lasted me 5 years until it just ceased to work anymore. I hope to get at least 5 years out of this one.

Good product for commercial point of sales. These do last many years even in greasy kitchen environment even. Price for a printer though is a bit insane! Perhaps I need to research more on a cheaper price for bulk order maybe.

Haven't set it up yet. Assume it works like our other of the same model. Would be nice if it came with connection cable but it didn't come with the last half of the power cable!!
