My daughter in law wanted these for my newest grandson. They did not have them when my children were little. I never could have imagined paying $17 for a pacifier BUT, they are worth it. I spent hundreds of dollars on my youngest son’s binkys because we were always loosing them. You will not lose these. They are not only adorable but, very durable. We retired my grandsons original three because he had them for over 4 months however, no damage was done to the pacifier itself. We have bought a total of 7 of these in the eleven months that my grandson has been here and no damage to any of them. My grandson has 9 teeth and counting and he is always chomping on them. Still no rips or holes.My son and dil will retire the remaining ones shortly after his first birthday. They are also a genuine comfort to my grandson. I highly recommend these for parents/caretakers who choose to use a pacifier.

I bought 2 of these for my nieces born at 26 weeks and were in the NICU because they are my "heroes" :) Being premie babies, these pacifiers helped them develop a strong sucking reflex because they could hold on to the stuffed animal attached to the paci so it wouldn't fall out.

I have been buying and using these for a decade now. My oldest just turned ten and these were the only pacifier he’d take as a baby. He still has his (outrageously large) collection and likes to sleep with them. He obviously doesn’t still use them, but he loves them. My second stopped using pacifiers are maybe four months, preferring his fingers. Until then he liked these better than other brands. My newest baby (7w) is just like my oldest and LOVES these. We’ve tried a few models but that Avent Soothie is just a winner in my house. The little animal is a bonus. He loves hugging them as much as sucking on them just like my oldest.Now something to consider is not all styles of these are the same. If your baby likes styles like the giraffe this is great. If they prefer the dog or cow, this might not be a winner. It’s about the weight distribution. With older babies it doesn’t matter as much but with smaller ones some styles are a pain cause the kid keeps dropping them. I personally like this style with the little tab of extra fabric and so do my kids.I wish the company made more of these inventive styles. I do love the basic animals, but this one is just so darn cute. My older two boys were beside themselves when they saw “their baby” with this little guy. As someone that’s been buying these for so long we have all the harder to find ones. Dragons (both green and red!), lobsters, fluffy ducks, holiday exclusives, etc. But we want more Wubbanub!

My son loves these. He has to have two at all times. Lol. Honestly the best thing we have ever gotten him. Hard to loose and also a little friend for them.
