Britax Marathon ClickTight Convertible Car Seat, Ollie

I can already tell the Boulevard is the seat for us. We had previously been using a Graco Contender and while it was fine I felt that it was too minimal and didn't have any additional safety features. I'm of the belief that our children deserve the best when it comes to safety so if we can at all provide it, we absolutely should (And the multiple safety features of the Clicktight series had me SOLD!!!) They're some of the only convertible seats for sale in the US to offer a rebound bar and the install was not only foolproof but rock solid in under 1 minute. Easy to uninstall for me as well.It gets 5 stars for appearances too, it really is premium quality. The seat fabric is so soft and plush and the blue of the Poole colorway is really vibrant. It appears like it will wipe away clean somewhat easily. The interior is very spacious and comfortably padded while also having deep enough sides to protect my son's head and body in a crash. With his Graco he could not have the insert in because the buckle would dig into his legs but I surprisingly found that this wasn't an issue in the Boulevard! The crotch strap is plenty long enough for my 75th %tile weight/10th %tile height baby and is comparable to other seats. The harness straps adjust evenly and easily even with the carseat installed fairly upright and pressed tight against the vehicle seat. I have no complaints with the Boulevard!Mine was manufactured 6 months before the date of purchase

This is our second Britax Marathon Clicktight car seat. I chose it for my oldest based off reviews I read from Babygearlab.com. I had no reason to not choose it again for my youngest.We love the quality of the seats and ease of installing. They are heavy seats so I wouldn’t recommend this for someone who travels often or switches between cars because that could be tiresome.It is thoroughly padded which makes for a comfortable ride. I remove all the pieces and machine wash them occasionally because sometimes they need a good washing. I try to air dry them but will sometimes throw them in the dryer on low heat if I need them done quicker.There are labels on the car seat to reference when installing it and a bubble level. I found that I needed to recline the seat more once I placed it in my vehicle because the captain seats are slanted. Otherwise, the seat would have been too far upright for a rear facing baby, if that makes sense.We start using these seats on their first birthday because we feel they are safest in their infant car seats until then.We are pleased with our car seats. This is what I recommend to my friends looking for convertible seats.

If you are having to move carseats in and out of vehicles often, the Britax ClickTight is the only way to go! So easy to install and remove. Great safety ratings from a well known brand.

First of all, these are great seats! We bought 3 of these for 2 of our cars and one of in-laws. They definitely give one the feeling of security. Our baby looks like a Nascar driver in these seats. If you are not picky about colors, you will get some of them with discounts. The seat is built to last and absorb for sure! It is super heavy with all that steel frame on it. I just want to give you guys a list of cons and pros to make this easier to read and understand and hopefully help you make a decision. You can always ask further questions after reading my list.PROS:* Feels very secure by looks and how the kiddo fits in it.* Great finishing with great colors if you are picky about colors. We love the blue one.* Cleans so easy. The covers are stain resistant and even with the spills, they clean so easy.* Easy to take out the cover and wash then put it back on.* It fits most cars with no problems. (read cons about fitting some cars)* Very much adjustable. You can get your kid to the most comfortable position* Buttons are built and installed in a way where kids can't reach or can't mess with them even f they can reachCONS:* They are pricey* Tightening the top belt has been a huge struggle for us. It is super hard to pull and secure the top of the seat to a car. Britax demonstrates the installation in a minivan where the back of the seat faces the huge open trunk. So easy to pull and secure on the video. Since there is no opening on a car's back seat, so hard to pull the belt and tighten it.* Customer service is always busy and they do not communicate too well. I have contacted them for a couple of minor things and yet to hear back.* It is NOT easy to transfer so if you have 2 cars in the household, you will need two of these. You really DO NOT want to mess with it once installed in one of the cars! I kid you not :)BOTTOMLINE:This is one of the best (if not the best) car seats for your child. We have tried multitude of seats and done extensive research before we decided on these. You will not regret investing in one of these. (or more if you have more than one car)

It is a great car sit, easy to install which we were looking for and look super safe for our little one (another thing we really wanted). The only down side is the weight of it. I explain why it matters to us so much. We have a 1 year old and live in Chicago (downtown). Because we live downtown and both work walking distance from our home we don't have a car and we rent them the weekend (ZIP car service).It is missing a good car sit system which would be safe and easy to take with you after the first year. We have a bag for the britax but it just a pain when one of us needs the car and the other one is not around. Basically, I will have the baby in the stroller and walk to the car with the car sit on my back. I which there was a similar system than the infant car sit system for 1 year and +.Our situation is not common so I am aware that it might not be an interesting market for the manufacturers.

We bought this same carseat for my daughter only in the girly print and now we've purchased for my 10 month old son. The benefits are that it's super comfortable and while spacious still fits into smaller vehicles. It's easy to install, clean, and strap baby in. We love it!
