軽量だが
シュリンゲと一体型なので、ビレイのときの干渉が怖いです。 干渉を緩和するための工夫が必要となる場合も多いのではないでしょうか。 この手のギアは、やっぱり、考え方と工夫と使用する人・場所で様々ですね。

I thought I'd miss the thumb loop...
I'm used Black Diamond's cams which have a thumb loop, which I thought I'd miss; however, the Metolius Master Cam does the trick without it. Now, the most stand-out thing that Metolius has done is put indicator colors on the outer lobes of the cams so that you know, without a doubt, what size fits in the crack you're looking at. Over all, I give them a 10/10 and yes, I would whip.

received a booklet without the cam
Is it a joke? In the package I found the booklet about Metolius cams and NO cam itself!
