Well packaged and nearly identical to the original Hitachi pump. Pretty much a swap out unit for unit. This pump seems to run a little longer after it reaches the desired position, but otherwise I’ve noticed no difference in the way it operates. I did replace the original relay with the replacement that they supplied even though I don’t think there was anything wrong with the one that was in there. I kept it as a spare. I think the reason that they suggest doing that is that typically the pumps are burned out and that can cause to relay to short. Mine was just taking an awfully long time to raise and lower because the desiccant dryer was completely clogged and I couldn’t find a replacement kit for it easily. I’ll order a desiccant kit and rebuild the other pump dryer.

I’ve heard many people have had bad luck using aftermarket cheaper compressors on a Rover however I have been (knock on wood) pleasantly surprised by the performance so far! It has been working flawlessly for the past month and it’s quieter than the original. The unit looks exactly the same as original hitachi. I’ll post an update if it does end up failing.

This is a great pump! Mirror image of the original pump i pulled off there. I recieved it very promptly in top noch packaging . Also came with a new relay for your fuse box for the pump circut. Its not there fault for ease of instalation , your LR3\disco desingers are to blame for that one. If your changing this partI know what your going through , just stay persistant and you,ll get that suspention back to its original working self,wishing you good luck and no leaks

Took my mechanic 15 min to install this. Now the Suspension works as it should! I’d buy it again. Been installed for about 4 weeks now. Works awesome.

works on land rover sports 2013 hse lux ... and works great! gj guys great machine
