Not sure why yours doesn't, mine came with hoodie strings

No none that I have seen so far everything looks great I washed my before wearing it that makes it look good for wearing also wash in side out it seems make it last longer hope all this helps you.

I’m sure a medium would fit you! I’m 5’4” and 160, ordered a large but I like them big so I can layer underneath. Yes to a medium for you. You’ll live it. The stitching is beautiful.
