NKJV Holman Full-Color Study BibleEdition Personal Size

This item is advertised as imitation leather. It is not imitation leather, just an ordinary paperback edition. I got an exchange and still ended up with a paperback. Clearly it appears the description of the product is wrong. The content of the bible itself is satisfactory. The cost appears good value for an imitation leather item but not so good for a paperback.

I have the black leather touch KJV Holman study bible and bought this for a friend. There was a small gouge in the front cover of the tan part. And the page in the back that's glued to the cover was torn a little bit. It came sealed in cellophane so it wasn't the people I ordered from but a problem with Holman's quality control. The friend I have is still happy with it.I must say these notes are perfect for those inexperienced in studying the bible or who are beginners or new believers. There are some things that are out there like Ezekiel 38-39. They're dead wrong as to it's timing. It won't be at the end of the millennial reign but either 1. Before the rapture, 2. At the beginning if the tribulation, or 3. In the middle of the tribulation.All in all this is by no means a "must have" bible but it is a "should have" bible. The notes and references at the bottom of the pages do a good job of tieing all the different events in the bible together. It also does a good job of explaining different things as well.

Just the correct size for bible study. Finally found a bible I love.
