Friendly suggestions:For beginners, we recommend that you practice using the tool from a low place (for example, 1 meter). Once you master the method, you can easily conquer any tree. Choose softer bark, the tree will not fall off the skin.Guidance: From a pair of "claws" to focus inward. Your hands and body always form a triangle. The climbing power of the paws together with your climbing power help you move up. Please note that moving the tree up is not the correct way.Try to choose trees that are between 10 inches and 20 inches in diameter to practice. If you start learning on a tree with hard bark, it will be quite difficult.color: redGear material: manganeseLoad-bearing: 150KG/330LBApplicable shoe size: generalpack:1* A pair of tree climbing tools1* Single protective belt1* a pair of gloves1*a pair of foot straps

Climb a tree?
I understand the principle of these, and I have opportunities to use these in anger, I just have not as yet climbed a tree wearing them.Trying on the spikes requires you to be outside, preferably soft ground as the spikes protude and would scratch floors or even outside hard surfaces. The belt has a large loop then wraps around the tree and the connects back to the belt via a carrabiner, and then you dig into the trunk using the spikes and flick the loop up as you climb, when you stop you lean against the loop that helps hold you on the spikes. This is then a holding review. When I actually climb with a saw in hand I'll add to this review.

Well Made
I’ll be honest I haven’t travelled that high from the ground in these, but the short distance up the tree that I have used them for, they’ve worked well.Included in the set are the tree climbing spikes themselves, a pair of gloves, a belt and a pair of foot straps.I’m not entirely sure how similar products are valued on the market, but these for the quality seem reasonably priced.

Whis is the target market for these? Utter waste of money.
Not sure who is the market target for these. Can't be anyone seriously trying to climb trees. They are more like toys designed to stop you getting too high because they are painful to wear and slip about on the foot even if you have tied them tight enough to cut off circulation with the bindings. There is no way to get them anchored to your leg to to the point where you could actually use them to climb. I should have been warned by performance of the guy in their video and his prancing waving his foot when he had one tied one, and the other guy, knees bent, clinging to the tree against all the advice of videos by professionals on YouTube.I got these to climb my trees to top them. After day trying I admitted that they would not hold me at any sort of height because they slip about on the foot too much. I can just about climb with them but I'm convinced to leave this to the professionals who have proper kit.

Need more practice.
HUKOER Tree Climbing Spikes with 2 Gears.Firstly ive only used these to climb a few feet not much more the 8ft in total they make climbing trees so much easier and safer but like me if you have never used something like this you need to put some practice in i highly recommend staying low to start with the spikes dig into the bark really well and the strap especially when leaning back holds you in place.Crampons are easy to wear and for a beginner like me they seem like a fair price.Just remember going up is much easier than coming back down.

Good tree climbing kit
This is a good tree climbing set. My son has tried it out but only at low level as I won't let him go any higher until he's mastered the art.The set is very good quality and feels sturdy. You put the belt around your waist and lean back on it. Then you put the leg attachments on which have spikes on the bottom and they stick into the tree.I got this so my son could climb a tree to get some branches cut off but the tree trunk is too big. Make sure the strap is big enough for the tree that you want to climb.Overall, I think it's an excellent kit and the price is around average but it does need a bit of practice to use.
