1. The hexes are the perfect size (for me)2. the paper feels wonderful3. it gives all the necessary details on the front of the book. It's also USA made, so if that's a concern, now you know.The only downside is that now I'm spoiled for what size I want my hexes to be and now I want a journal with the same layout. (standard 5.5 x 7 or whatever with the hexgrid).x. there are samples of the other kinds of grid paper (hex and square, different sizes) which is pretty neat.

Well... this is just super basic hex grid paper. No legend area or anything special. I found out you can get free hex paper free online that you can print yourself. If I had know, I would not have purchased this.
