Blue Desktop DDR3 Kits

I'd normally pick a well known brand but at the time I couldn't find a matched 32gb kit for a good price (I've mixed and matched ram over the years but a kit from the same batch is extra peace of mind and makes the system run a little better imo) I took a chance with these as the reviews were good and they were going in a 10 yr old workstation with an i7 4790. A workhorse processor with a lot of life left in it and the HP motherboard can take up to 32gig ddr3, so why not?! The shielding looks good and helps with heat dissipation but in my case it just made it nice to fit. You can get a good grip and push them in without worrying about touching the delicate bits. Fitting all 4 took less than a minute. On boot, I got a warning that the ram didn't match the previous state before shutdown. Pressing F1 would save the new configuration and boot up without issue. It's now been running 3 days straight with no issues and the ram is recognised without fault. Seems to be very fast and smoother than before. Can handle better frame rates for gaming and video editing is a breeze now. Time will tell but I'm happy I went with this brand.

UPDATE: after 3 months roughly still working well no slow down! Benchmarks show its mid to low high end range and these sticks show as hyinx when picked up by various bench mark software which i beleive is mentioned on their product page, most importantly its still stable, I now have 32 gbs of this installed in a Z200. For the price and fact its not a known or major brand/Manufacturer I wasn't expecting much, but installed this in an old HP workstation im upgrading to give it some more power, Bios picked it up and initialized with no issues, shows up in the system, had it for a week and no loss of function no over heating and seems to work as good as a stick of low end Patriot or Crucial Ram. I would say sometimes its worth taking a risk, some of these lesser known brands are as good as the main ones, they all started somewhere Build quality is also as good as Vengeance shielded ram. If it didn't work was just gonna send it back. I will be buying the black ones now to make sure i have the same ram in the system.

Its good and extremely good for its price but you get what you get and that is 16gbs of DDR3. Not the best in the world but still a decent little kit

Worked straight out the box with no issues. Haven't noticed any thermal issues either.

It's hard to find decent DDR3 memory kits, let alone a decently priced brand new set. I've used this particular set for a while, and I've had no issues with stability, and it's worked nicely with both a 4570S and 4670k. Most recently I performed an overclock on memory, and went from 1600 to 2400Mhz, which provided a significant performance boost. I recommend this speed increase to anyone using a haswell/haswell refresh CPU. Can't fault appearance, looks good enough, seems to cool well, and the heatsink doesn't get in the way of my big cooler

DDR3 16GB Kit (8GBx2) Installed in a clients computer that was only running 4GB of memory however, needed more in order to run a program. This was a nice, affordable way of increasing the memory without spending alot in return. Took a few minutes to install once placed and loaded up the system did it own checks on the RAM before proceeded to the main operating system (Dell). Once logged in the system showed 16GB its been used now for just under a week without issues, no errors and with some software i checked the for heat and all that came back completely fine. Overall happy to recommend if you need to increase the memory of a system.
