The application was experimental . Fun to apply the paint to canvas .Love the paint Very creamy . I used a cloth to apply the paint to the canvas .This product has a lot of potential for experimenting. I really liked it .

First timer oil painting: this was a great way to start oils, and I used them in a workshop: my tutor had no experience with them and was skeptical but he realized they are "like oils" and now he recommends them. For plein air they make it much easier since you don't have to carry solvents just find a water source and also for keeping palette and brushes clear all you need is water and they are environmentally friendly!The kit has a great palette but is missing a warm red so you may either have to change a bit your color schema or buy a cadmium red hue separate from the kit

I wanted to try these paints because they’re easier to travel with than regular oil paint and all the paraphernalia. I’m still learning the ends and outs of using them. They are easy to use. I like them. I don’t love them, yet, but that could very well happen.
