Portable External Hard Drive 80GB- External Storage for Laptop/Desktop/Xbox one/PS4 (80G Black)

Worked as stated Updated review: so very frustrated, only used a few times and then it stopped working. As far as I am concerned, this is not a good product.

For anyone looking to use it for the Wii console to store games, beware that Nintendont does not recognize this drive even if you format it properly, it's probably something to do with the hard drive's casing. Otherwise, Dios Mios does load games off it as long as you boot them from USBLoader.

Was I worried about the small price tag for such a technological product? Yes! However, the fears were unfounded. This small footprint External HDD is perfect! It was a breeze to get it to work with my computer, it only took plugging the USB cord in. How easy can you make it? I purchased this for my new laptop which I bought from Amazon with a Solid-State Drive. I didn’t want to clutter my SSD with gaming and music files, but I still wanted to have access to them. This was the most perfect compromise. I got the black one, I plug it in and hide it under a “lifted” subwoofer from my computer audio system. It stays out of the way. It doesn’t make as much noise (mechanical whirring from the hard disk spinning) as my slightly older HP All-In-One’s HDD, so that’s another great plus! To this date (roughly a month), there have been no issues. I’m only using about 30GB of the “almost” 80GB it came with. However, if I find that I’ve ran into any problems then I will update this review. Until then, if you only need less than ~80GB of space, BUY IT! I highly recommend you to buy one for yourself.

I had it sitting in my office for several months in the box and hadn't used it. I took it out to use it, and when I tried to connect it to my computer, it wouldn't mount. The connector where you plug the cord into the drive was too far inward. When I opened the disk, it wasn't soldered. I ended up just throwing it away because even if I could solder it, there would be no guarantee it wouldn't fail later since it was such poor quality.

It's an ok to mediocre value however the drive failed within two years and cannot recover anything. I recommend paying extra just so that this does not happen to you.

Very reasonable for the price and it works just fine for me! Great for photos and videos!

This is very good if you own a android tv box and need more space for games and apps

L'ho comprato perché mi serviva un hard disk da usare come memoria esterna aggiuntiva per xbox360. Visto che vedeva solo 30gb degli 80gb i restanti li ho utilizzati di backup. Comunque prodotto molto buono in rapporto al prezzo.

Auf dem Bild in der Vergrößerung wird suggeriert das es ein USB 3.0 Anschluss hat, jedoch kommt im Real Life ein 2.0 Anschluss wo man einen Adapter braucht. Jedoch bezweifle ich stark das die 3.0 Datentransfer Rate erreicht wird, ehrlich gesagt teste ich dies nicht da ich mich veräppelt fühle. Dann hat die externe Festplatte auch nach 2 mal benutzen den Geist aufgegeben... FINGER WEG!!!
