Perfect fit!
Awesome product! Fit perfectly! Easy and painless install. I’m not a car stereo guy but this kit made it easy to install my single deck stereo into my 2005 Toyota Corolla.

Works perfectly, but lacks directions
This worked perfectly in my 2005 Toyota Corolla. It goes right with the car and makes the radio look perfect. It puts a 1-DIN radio in a 2-DIN space, and bevels right with the Toyota design making it look kind of like an original design rather than an add-on. The only thing that I would have added to their design if I had had the chance is instructions for the car model it is designed for. While it is easy to find various versions of directions for the Toyota Corolla on the internet, there is no way to know the quality of the instructions you find. The radio that I bought had a service for looking up various car models' directions online, but then, in the end, that database was incomplete, and I had to rely on one of the high school kid's postings found with Google. Since this dash kit is made specificially for that car model, this is the most logical part with which to include the directions. Oh, by the way, I will give you the directions, here: Disconnect the battery just to be extra safe. (Some people cite airbag accidental release problems, but I do not think that that is a risk.) Carefully pry off the shifter cover. It takes only steady pressure. Disconnect the cigarette lighter/charger to get the panel out of the way. Remove the center A/C knob, and remove the screw. Then pry off the clock A/C cover. Again, slow steady pressure. Pry off the radio cover. You guessed it: slow steady pressure. The radio is secured with 4 hex screws, 10mm if I recall correctly. They are deep, so you need a long hex driver (and maybe a magnet). They fall and get lost easily. If they do, you might be able to find them on the carpet or by reaching back around things. The dash kit comes with instructions for mounting it on the radio. You should strongly consider a wire harness Metra 70-1761 Radio Wiring Harness For Toyota 87-Up Power 4 Speaker . It makes it easy to disconnect the radio, later. After the radio is tested, reverse the operations, above. Good luck!

Exactly what I hoped for in a dash kit
I bought this to pair with a Kenwood unit I bought from Amazon as well kenwood KMMBT315U Single DIN Bluetooth CD Receiver . The fit and finish of this adapter is pretty nice in my book, and although the plastic's texture and appearance is different than that of the dashboard around it, the overall look is not bad at all. I really like how securely it held the head unit in, not allowing it to rock up and down at all. I was easily able to insert the deck into the slot from the front side and secure it into the adapter in just minutes. The assembly took barely any time at all and the 12 included screws fit perfectly and held the whole thing together well. I also liked that the shelf was below the head unit. It's a pretty deep shelf as well! My Nexus 6P fits in it with a case on with no problems. I figured I would put up a pic showing the completed setup. I apologize for the bad photo quality and dirty car, lol. Overall I would say if you are in the market for an adapter like this then you have found a good one here!

Super Easy Installation
When I put a new head unit into my Toyota MR2, I put the old head unit, a JVC KD-AR565, into my 2006 Toyota Corolla CE (aka "The Dog Car"). Using this single DIN adapter, it was the easiest radio installation I've ever done. Part of this was due to the Corolla's design, but it was also due to the quality of the adapter. The head unit is very well secured and looks very good in the dash. The tray even slopes downward slightly so that CD jewel cases don't go shooting all over the place. A couple of tips: Having the proper wiring harness adapter already attached to the head unit made things even easier. If you don't have a wiring adapter, get one. Wire nuts are your friend. Enfig Car Stereo has an excellent short video on You Tube that details how to remove the OEM unit. Reverse the procedure to install the adapter and aftermarket radio--simple. Harbor Freight sells a nice Nylon Pry Bar Installer Kit for less than $8 that simplifies removing the dash panels.

Did not fit my vehicle
The product was easy to setup and the instructions were clear and the material was very strong. But it did not fit in my car, It is a 2005 Toyota corolla but my own came from a different part of the world where the original double Din deck fitted futher back into the dashboard.

Great fit and easy install.
Bought this as the factory Toyota stereo died and I purchased an aftermarket single DIN unit ( half the height) to replace it and needed an adapter. I looked at one in Canadian Tire but it seemed poor quality and was more expensive. This unit was easy to install and fitted perfectly. Obviously be careful and not too heavy-handed with it as it is plastic, though. It looks good and there is the included small shelf/storage bin that is part of the unit - ideal for your cell phone or MP3/4 player you might want to hook up to your stereo as I did. The colour is satin black and is close enough to the colour of the other panels on the dashboard for my liking. If you wanted to change the colour, there are spray paints for plastic that could do that. Recommended!

ONLY FITS NORTH AMERICAN COROLLA
Does not fit. After researching why, it turns out the this kit is for North American Toyota Corolla's, not the rest of the world. Hey, the listing doesn't state this, and I bought the product on Amazon.com.au, so I've been set up for failure. I will be contacting support and asking for a retrun/refund. Very disappointing.

Works great for a cheap alternative and fits very well
Cheap plastic but thicker in areas needing support. Works great for a cheap alternative and fits very well. If the deck isn't screwed into this it'll be held in place with the deck bracket which isn't that secure but is holding up for me after a little macguyvering
