Like the title, it's impressive, very crisp. If you're not using this for design, it is probably the best. also if you're using a mac, it just charges an connects through one wire. very light.

The media could not be loaded. I've owned 5 usb monitors (every 15" Asus monitor they ever released) so I know a bit about these and was interested in upgrading to a 17" and 2k resolution portable monitor.Pros:- I was skeptical is was actually 1440p (aka 2K, aka QHD). But it really is 1440p.- The brightness and color saturation is good. Brighter and more saturated colors than my Asis MB16AC.- It has a vesa mount on the back. Which would make mounting it to an elevated portable stand easy- 17" is bigger! 1440p is sharper!- My 16" MBP powered it and fed video to it via a single usb-c cable (display port).- IT comes with 2 usb-c cables, and a HDMI to mini-HDMI, and USB-A to USB-C cable and 20W usb-c power brickCons:- Case is pretty flimsy. I'm used to the rigid Asus case.- Case magnets to hold it to the laptop are very weak.- I also comes with a little kick stand that is pretty cool and more useful than the "case stand".Ok, so why did I return it? The primary reason is that there was a green smudge (not a pixel, more like a finger print) under the screen. I noticed this 30 seconds after unboxing it and plugin it in, so this wasn't me mishandling the monitor. Amazon makes returns easy and since I had other reasons to return it I didn't bother exchanging it.So, it turns out 1440p on a 17" monitor this size makes text super super tiny. I thought maybe I could use MacOS's scaling to scale up the resolution like I do on my 16" MBP, but that resulted in really poor sharpness. I think scaling up would work better on a 4k monitor.I think this monitor would be awesome for digital art or video. Colors aren't perfect, but it's better than the other USB monitors I've used and could be good/usable with some color profile corrections. It's just not great for reading text where you need the text on screen to be readable at 36" away.Video is my clicking through some of the color profiles built into the monitor. The video quality is poor, don't judge the sharpness of the monitor based on the video. Amazon compresses it pretty heavily. Just look at the color contrast.

Amazon directed me to the incorrect product on a previous review. Revising my original.Pros: Large. Good Price. Worked right out the box on my mac. Came with multiple useful cords. Doesn't need extra DC power . Has speakers. Support is pretty quick to reply.Cons: The screen is slightly dim. The menu controls are a bit cumbersome. Touch is not supported on mac. Thecover does not fold well enough to keep the monitor standing without sliding.

I have used this screen for 18 months now, and I'm very happy with it. I've hauled in on business trips from Berlin to Tokyo, as well as daily on my desktop. I love the resolution, which is better than the last portable monitor I got a few years ago. It's essential for doing my work when away from my office.

It started off great but not a month into intermittent use, the cable connection had some issues. Was able to do a work around but after about a year of use the monitor developed some lines going up and down the center. The monitor has not been dropped or gotten any water damage. I contacted amazon since I purchased their insurance bundle but since it was less than a year after purchase was told to contact the manufacturer. I did. They asked for pics, I submitted them. Since then NO ACTION has been taken despite various messages to find out the status of my claim. No the year's mark has passed and still NOTHING from either the manufacturer or Amazon. What's the use of buying the additional insurance if no one is going to help out when trying to use the damned thing?@? The insurance doesn't want to cover and the manufacturer ignores.

I plugged it into my 2021 MacBook Pro and it worked immediately. It is fully powered by the same usb cable that supplies the video. I'm very happy about not having to mess around with more cables. Looking at the Mac and Bimawen screens side by side, the Bimawen is pretty damn good. No bleeding. It shows more detail in picture shadows than even the Mac's monitor. The Bimawen does look a tad muddy and is not quite as bright. The manual is honest in that it tells you this type of monitor, liquid crystal, is subject to fading if left on too long. You might want to scale down from the 2k resolution when working with text.

This monitor is just the perfect size for a second monitor to use with my laptop.Excellent resolution, brightness, graphics and color.Connection options are awesome and works great.Love the stand that comes with it and also the cover.Takes up a lot less room on my desk than the monitor.I have absolutely no complaints.Instructions is a lot better than most. It did take me a while to figure out how to use the controls to change settings.

Je l'ai acheté pour accompagner un mini PC. Il est alimenté par un câble USB-C et le son et l'image passent par un câble HDMI ce qui laisse un emplacement USB et un emplacement HDMI libres. Tous les réglages se font par un petit bouton au-dessus des connecteurs; pratique si on veut accorder l'image que l'on a à l'écran avec les couleurs que l'on obtient à l'impression. C'est plus facile d'effectuer les réglages à partir de l'écran qu'à partir de l'imprimante.En plus de sa protection qui peut servir de support, plus discret, il est livré avec un petit support réglable, pliable, c'est lui que j'utilise à cause du peu de place qu'il occupe.

I was delighted how as soon as the USB-C cable was connected the screen was detected and ready for use. That was it - zero fuss.The case is good to protect when not in use and is thin enough to be stored alongside a laptop.As something to increase my productivity when on a laptop it has unobtrusively achieved it.
