Rock Exotica Unicender

I am writing this review only because someone gave this a 1 rating. I own 3 multicenders and many rappel and descending devices. The unicender (not purchased from Amazon) is my go to device. It has almost no setback, tends easily with a neck or over the shoulder tether, and works well in a rope walking system with the addition of a foot ascender and a knee ascender. THe unicender works with almost all ropes from 11 mm to 12.5 mm but I found that I can use itr with my HTP 10mm rope.

UNICENDER RECALLThere is an inspection recall on the Unicender. All Rock Exotica Unicenders made before August 2011 are affected. This required inspection is important for the user’s safety and your Unicender should not be used until the inspection has been performed
