These mats are seriously the BEST. I bought one at target on a whim after being disappointed by other plateware for my 11 month old. This mat is perfect. It stays put, is easy to clean, the perfect size. It makes it very easy for me to create meals for him and he loves eating out of it independently. This definitely is much better than just putting food on a clean table or putting it on a plate that he will just throw when he's done eating. I bought two more and now we have a rotation of three!Fun note: This also comes with a decent re-sealable bag so you can take the mat to restaurants if you want.

This is my favorite plate for my baby. I received one as a gift and liked it so much I bought another. They are the only ones that keep suction, all others will be thrown on the ground! I also like the low walls for easy grabbing for baby, and it's easy to wash and pop in the microwave. It's also easy to store and travel with. I've tried Lalo, AEIOU, target brands, etc. This is definitely my favorite brand for baby plates and cups.

This baby plate is great bc the edges are shallow making it easier for babies to reach into than other similar silicone plates. This makes it more likely that baby will practice pincer grasp. I found that my baby would use a raking grasp with other silicone plates that had deeper edges so I ended up placing food directly on the high chair tray. This plate is better bc we can use it on the high chair tray or on the table when we use our sunroom for meals. I am an OT and find that this product is more baby friendly and supports the development of fine motor skills better than similar products which are ultimately more suitable for toddlers. This is worth the higher price point bc it is truly baby friendly and should last through toddlerhood. Also, one is enough for us since it washes well by hand.

Perfect size

I purchased this plate for when my granddaughter comes to visit. I really and truly wish I had one of these or many, many, many more when my children were little! Easy to clean, I put it on the top shelf of the dishwasher; and it stays on the high chair tray without moving!!! No plate flinging in a fit of rage and frustration with food splattered to the 8 corners(don't forget the ceiling) of the room. HIGHLY recommend!
