Other than the month and a half it took to arrive (so do be aware if ordering as a gift), my only complaint is that the fill doesn't go quite to the top edge of the comforter, though that may be just a matter of pulling it into place; there does seem to be enough fill to do so. The beautiful colors and warmth of the comforter more than makes up for this lack. Perhaps I should add, the seams are all straight (as they should be!) and the dye is consistent on both sides--no splotchiness or uneven dyeing.

We ordered the dark green - light green a while ago and loved the cotton percale. It has held up well through washing and drying machines. So we ordered another, navy - light blue but it was not the same fabric, this one is all polyester. Disappointing. That said, it is comfortable and fine otherwise. Just keep in mind what you order may not match what is described; I'm not sure if the colors differ or if the company changes fabrics.

I was specifically trying to get a percale comforter (harder to find than you would think) because a) I like the crisp feeling, b) I hate static and c) microfiber is a fur magnet even before you consider the static. This comforter is warm and the batting stays in the right places after a wash, so it's a decent blanket, but it quickly gets staticky and covered in fur, so definitely not what I was looking for.

We have been desperately searching for a comforter for our handicapped teenage son who has essentially destroyed his favorite comforter "blanky"! Can't tell you how many of them have been rejected by him, ultimately ending up in the trash. And to be fair to him, they all felt kind of slick or slippery or slinky. A friend of mine was trying to help me figure out a way to salvage his blanky, and said "You know, this feels like Percale." Eureka!! Found this comforter, and ordered one to try out on him. Success! We washed it a couple of times to get rid of that new feel, and it is great! There is nothing like real cotton against your skin, and these are the real thing -- smooth percale sheets in comforter form. He is carrying it around with him, sleeping on it, and hasn't even looked for his blanky. I'm ordering 3 more today. Yes, they are a bit more expensive than most, but who cares -- they are really cotton blend percale, not a cheap polyester or microfiber!

These colors are easy to match with other colors in the room. This is a high quality comforter, the best of its kind, and with it the bed can also be made well in less than two minutes. Record for making the bed well is one minute.

My Dad hated his bed, so i bought him a new mattress, hated it, so on a hunch I bought new bed clothes and he loves them, sleeps better too.

This is what I was looking for: a comforter with a crisp cool feeling.
