BrixtonMen's Tiller Wide Brim Felt Fedora Hat

Didn't put much thought into this hat, but after receiving it. It has been a favorite of mine.

Great for winter rain AND sun. I wear this a lot when walking my dog in CA. If it’s sunny, the wide brim keeps it off. If it’s raining, it keeps it out of my face too.

Looks perfect 👌.

Hats don’t usually fit me, my head is on the small side. So I was very glad this came in multiple sizes. The XS fit perfectly and has been a terrific companion on desert and mountain hikes alike. I haven’t quite figured out how to make it work in the city though. Maybe in black ;) 4 stars because I Purchased the dark olive green color from another website in the same size and the material was thicker, causing the hat to be slightly too small on me. If you are in a time crunch, I suggest getting two sizes if you’re not sure and return one at a later date. Overall amazing quality hat and i wish brixton would make a Georgia o’keeffe flat top version. I love the chin strap and it’s hard to find hat styles with that feature!

Did someone order a spaghetti western? Goody, I get to wear my hat. A perfect tiller hat. 100% wool felt. Brim is not too big, not to small, just right.

Too flimsy. This is more like a costume hat. Does not hold it's intended shape.

I have a long, difficult history with hats; fashionable, wide-brimmed hats especially. I've known for a while what I wanted, but didn't necessarily know what to look for or what to call it. This just happens to be that holy grail of hats I've been pursuing for years! I. Love. This. Hat.I am between a small and extra small, according to the handy size chart. I opted for xs, as I have learned from experience that it is better break in a slightly small hat than try to work with one that wobbles on my head. (I have tried shrinking wool hats before-- don't do it!) I'm grateful for the snug fit though, as I live in a windy desert landscape. The fit combined with the leather chin strap ensures that it will not blow off my head easily!The shape and structure are absolutely perfect. The brim is the right size; not too big or floppy, not too small. The crown is just roomy enough without sitting too tall on my head, the way fedoras do on me. It looks fantastic on my funny-looking little head, which I couldn't be more pleased about! The chin strap is just right as well; practical but still very subtle.All the way around, this hat is perfection. I had it saved in my cart for a long time, unsure whether I should spend so much money on a hat. Now, my only regret is that I didn't bite the bullet sooner!

I’m a men’s size 7 1/2 so I ordered a Large as Brixton sizing indicated. Perfect fit. Moss color is a dark green and not the heathered green color shown in amazon’s photos. I like it. The signThe black thread stitch that surrounds the bottom of the crown is wobbly and uneven so close workmanship is lacking, but for what you pay, it’s fine and hard to see. It’s a warm hat....definitely not for hot summer sun. Wool felt will shrink if wet or overly damp so keep it out of rain unless you need it to shrink a bit. The brown, real leather lash nicely compliments the moss color. Guys.....if you are bearded like me and want To avoid being asked if you are Amish, (and there is nothing wrong with being Amish), push down on the front center of the brim regularly to shape it and achieve a more “western” look. Great hat. Wish they’d get more colors back in stock so I can order another one.
