Im extremely happy with this product. I bought this for my mother who has Parkinsons and vivid dreams that causes her to fall out of bed. Now she is in a assisted living facility and the state does not allow bed rails. This bumper is working wonderfully. Very easy to install under fitted sheet.

My husband has fallen out of bed 3 times. Last time he injured himself. I went on a search for something to prevent him from falling out. Didn’t like the metal and fabric semi ride rails. Too hospital like. A metal side rail is too much. Found this ad. I order the one with the bamboo cover. As bamboo sheets and fabric are cooling. The bumper is a little longer than needed. Would have preferred about 6 -8 inches shorted. The key to having it secure and not move is place it under your fitted mattress pad and then under a fitted sheet. Also place the extra material that is attached to the bumper pad on the mattress pad. The persons weight and being under a fitted mattress pad and fitted sheet made this bumper pad very secure. My husband was able to get in and out of bed easily. The bumper is firm but not hard. My husband stated he slept better than he had in years. As he felt secure. He also didn’t move as much as he usually does. Another Benefit of the bumper pad it feels great against your back. I am a RN and in the hospital setting many times for support and sleeping comport an extra pillow is rolled and tucked up against the patient’s back if they are wanting to sleep on their side or have problems moving. Rolled up pillows are often used to give extra support to the patient’s back. This bumper pad provides the same support. Another nice feature if you read or watch tv before sleeping it allows one arm to rest on the pad.

This works well for us. My husband has parkinson's and fell out of the bed. He has an adjustable bed and the bed rails wouldn't work with it. This bumper is easy to install and provides a nice buffer. He can easily get in and out of bed with it. Only issue is it didn't come with the fabric attachment I've seen in previous reviews. The bumper did fall off the bed the first night and it's hard to get under our adjustable mattress pad for more stability. The fabric attachment would have been ideal. I hope you can add this attachment back and if there's a way I can purchase one, please let me know. Thanks

This is a review of the memory foam version of the "bed rail". It is useless as a bed rail since there is no way to keep it in place. Unlike the pictures in the ad, the memory foam version does not have extension that goes under the sleeper's body and holds the bed rail in place. Therefore it c moves around and wouldn't stop the sleeper from falling. It would be more accurate to describe it as a bolster rather than a rail.Update: I bought a role of double sided tape and I used the tape to hold the bedrail in place. That seems to be working. I want to add that after seeing my review the seller contacted me to offer a full refund.

Every so often when visiting my daughter's house I would fall out of bed. The side I usually sleep on is up against the wall there. After my lastest fall she rolled up a blanket and stuck it under the fitted sheet. But it didn't feel secure. My husband suggested a bumper and so I bought this one. It is fantastic.Not only does it keep me firmly in bed, but I can hold onto it to reach items on the night table that were out of reach before. It comes in a small case. I opened it up and waited a few hours and it was fully puffed up and ready to use. I put it between the fitted sheet and mattress pad, but it could go under the mattress pad as well.In my more than 25 years years as an Amazon customer, this is far and away one of the very best purchases I've made.

I was so happy with the one of these I bought myself earlier this summer, I bought one for my sister. What was received the second time is a quality product. However, it no longer comes with a mat attached which lays under the person in bed and helps to keep this bed "rail" from moving when the person comes in contact with it. It can fall completely off the bed, no longer providing safety to the sleeper. Don't know why this mat is no longer a piece of this safety equipment but it needs to be added back on. It helped improve the product 100%!!!

I am SO happy with this product. I rarely will write review but this product deserves high praise. It works great and my husband is comfortable and sleeping well now which means I can sleep well. My husband has a form of parkinson's. We tried metal rails before but they had sharp points and such when putting the rail down to get out of bed. We hated that type of rail. I donated it to goodwill. This product is comfortable, no sharp edges and it is effective. We have only had it for two nights but it works like a dream.

These bed rolls are very handy in preventing elderly from falling out of the bed. Provide extra support to keep them in the bed and reduce concerns about them slipping out of the bed. Only assemble required is to let bed rolls to air out due to being compressed.
