These socks come in a very nice package and is great to give as a gift! I got these for my son who loves basketball and is 11 years old. It fit him well. The socks are thin so don't expect any warmth or protection to them - it's really just to wear for fun and around the house to display your love for the sport. The stitching looks fine and there wasn't any loose strings sticking out. The socks go past the ankle a bit and goes well with a fun outfit.
