It's soft lightweight and very warm I would of gave 5 stars but reason for the 4 stars is because its not big enough wouldn't cover a double bed for example... doesn't go over the sides of the mattress if you just wanted to spread it over your bed. Other then that I will be getting another one in a different cover for someone else. Its a blanket I think when you just quickly want to warm up with a cuppa outside in your garden in the morning
