Excellent pan, if you follow care instructions
In a nutshell: I cook a lot of frozen pre-made meals from Trader Joe's, and this is the perfect pan. I've been using it 3 to 4 times a week for the past couple of months, and it still looks brand new.Pros: Heats evenly, perfectly non-stick, and incredibly easy to clean.Cons: You do need to follow the care instructions: I always add a little oil, never cook over medium heat (which has never been an issue), let it cool down before washing it, and wash with a soft sponge.Recommend to: Anyone looking for a quality pan, that can take care of it. (If you have roommates or children, they may not know how to keep it looking like new)

All around Very Good
I really like this pan. I love the fact it has two handles and not one, like your regular frying pans. Its a nice size for large and small cooking. Comes with a lid so that's bonus if needed.. Clean up is a breeze. I don't use everyday or even every week, so I'm hoping it last a very long time.

Holds heat beautifully
This pan was given to me as a gift and I use it for just about everything under the sun in my kitchen that requires actual cooking. I had to give up cooking my steaks indoors in my cast iron pans because of the high level of iron absortion that made me quite ill. But, this pan does an amazing job of searing steaks. And, it is great for cooking chicken and seafood, even pork. I absolutely love this pan. Only problem is my lid yo it has vanished. I just hope I can get one from the manufacturer.

Nonstick Versatile Pan
My familiarity with the GreenPan brand started several years ago when it was time to replace our slow cooker. I upgraded from a vanilla style plain slow cooker to a bells and whistles option from GreenPan. I really like the ease of clean up, in addition to the minimized harmful chemicals in the cookware. With a lot of great deals floating around this time of year, I perked my ears up at newer options for additional GreenPan cookware. My husband does most of the day to day cooking at our house, but I like to dabble with old favorites and try new recipes occasionally. This pan seemed really versatile to me. The clean up has been very impressive so far. The instructions for how to keep the non stick surface for a long time take a bit of adaptation, but shouldn't be too hard to follow. The chef did complain that he had to use a mitt or a cotton towel to hold on to the handles to be able to move the cooked food to a plate. Am not sure why he didn't want to use a large spoon to serve up from the pan, but maybe he was looking for something to complain about? Now that it's finally cooling off I look forward to trying a recipe like mushroom chicken in a light sauce. I think this pan will be perfect for that kind of dish.

Excellent, general use non stick pan
I use this pan almost daily on top of my electric stove. I cook mostly with a combination of butter and olive oil on medium heat. The heat conduction of this an is excellent. I mostly use the pan for chicken, pork chops or fillet mignon but also caramelize onions and to cook mirepoix. Food has never burnt possibly because I only ever use medium heat.I wash the pan by hand because it is so easy to clean, but I put the glass lid in the dishwasher on the bottom rack.I was a bit nervous to do this because of reports of shattered glass, but this has NOT happened to me.

Everyday Pan for Everything
This Everyday Pan is great, especially at the sales price. I bought some other Green Pan skillets but to be honest if I'd found this one first I wouldn't have bought any others. Those other skillets are shallow & more suited to frying eggs or hamburgers but this pan is great for that plus mixing multiple ingredients for chili or casseroles or whatever, because it has higher sides. Love the lid, too. The only drawback is that my other pans have the coated handles which means they don't get hot. But this pan is beautiful & simple & so versatile that it's only a minor inconvenience. So far no problems cooking food in it, but I always cook on low & use a little oil or butter (takes very little) unless I'm cooking fatty meats. Highly recommend.

Perfect pan!
I had a circulon pan like this many years ago, and used it constantly till the non-stick surface started corroding. This one is even better! I browned shrimp in barely minutes, and made meal for 4 with little effort. Clean up was a breeze! Almost bought one with long handle and helpers handle, but they take up more room in cabinet. This is perfect!Update 7 mos later:This is our favorite pan for sauté, browning, eggs, making sauces. A breeze-still-to clean. Going no higher than med/high to warm up, it does take a few minutes, but it cooks evenly and holds the heat.

I really like this pan
I bought this pan specifically for recipes that involve moving between a stovetop and oven, and I've been very happy with how good a job it does. The short handles allow an easy fit in a smaller oven. The non-stick surface is very effective. I've used it for recipes up to 450 deg F in the oven with no problem. It looks to be well built, but I've only been using it for about a month, so time will tell how durable it is.
