they are fine. They are like anything canned, not the same as fresh.

The best way to describe these canned flowers is "eggplanty"....they come in kind of a brine and this brine kind of becomes the main flavor, but other than getting these fresh I don't know how else they could be marketed. I tried it in a quesadilla with cheese and it came out well because it balanced out the richness of the swiss cheese. Use it fairly sparingly as an accompaniment to a dish with the idea of giving that dish an accent of acidity or brininess. Maybe good in a sauce or even in eggs. I would advise purchasing one can; I bought a pack of 12 but I'm not sorry about it.2/6/23 UPDATE -- I also could not find a solution how to use this, but now I did -- use it as a condiment, Saute a little garlic or onion or both in olive oil and add more onion and ketchup to sweeten and whatever else you have (diced potato, veggies, etc) and then simply use it hot or refrigerate it and use on anything from hambergers, hot dogs, eggs or sandwiches. Add to stews. It has been so "processed" that this is the best use for it --- but its quite good used like this.

This product is technically unusable! Please do not waste your money, it is mushy and soggy. I would have given this product a zero if it was an option!

The photo on the can shows sliced zucchini pieces in a sauce. That is not what is inside the can! The can contains large steamed zucchini flowers in sauce. I have no idea how to use this product. I've looked everywhere for recipes but can't find any, not even on the Goya website. Will not buy again.
